This album goes incredibly hard and addresses countless heavy topics that I think few would confront so directly.
"Vincent" is one of the most disappointing songs I have heard this year. Like, I guess I am glad these two can bond over music but this is so over produced and slimy sounding.
I am not sure where I stand on the album yet but I know "Sorry Fahey" is a damn beautiful song.
I like the content of this album but my man hits the keys so hard sometimes. It can make some moments less pleasant than they could be.
Big Peggy fan. But this record isn't doing much for me. The production is still all there which a lot of my positive reaction to the record comes from but the lyrics are so tired and somehow the metal-esque production at parts makes it worse. You listen to Peggy complain about his "haters" so many times that it's starts to become moot and the electric guitar just adds to the faux theater of it all.
