To 6 months ago me this was one of the best sounding albums I'd ever heard.
After 6 months of listening to multiple albums a week I can safely say it still is one of the best sounding albums ever.
There's not really too much to say about it if there?
The feel is so dark yet so inviting, the vocal deliveries are all incredible, the production is brilliant especially for an older record.
It's just great.
They should've made closedown 7 minutes however the instrumentals on ... read more
This has actually been a really influential album to me. Aside from some System of a Down tracks (I'm looking at you Bounce and Chic'N'Stu) this was my first experience of "joke" songs. Now whilst since looking further I've realised its not a genre I inherently like, its certainly got some groups I absolutely love now such as the Lonely Island and Primus.
This album is absolutely perfect in what its trying to do. Every skit is hilarious, and every song manages to ... read more
This is most certainly not the shits. Probably their first third worst record after simulation theory and will of the people. HOWEVER it has got a couple highlight. Madness is one of my favourite muse songs and maybe even a top 20 song ever for me. It's just so beautiful. Supremacy is also incredibly catchy whilst still being good. Other highlights are stuff like panic station. The two 2nd laws are, interesting...
Probably my 5th favourite behind the first two, battleborn and pressure machine. There isnt any bad songs at all on this, but unfortunately there's only 1-2 truly incredible songs on it. A dustlabd fairytale being a top 10 song of all time definitely carries this album and I fear the rating would be much lower. The final track is actually really unique for the killers as they haven't done anything like it even since - but it's not the best delivery of a difficult format to ... read more
I love alot of the songs on here, and I don't love some. It's definitely the most polarising album by the killers, with no songs being bad persay just very mediocre - with then some of their best songs ever. I like this album more than the rating shows, but I deducted a bit as I definitely find myself waiting for the next great song which is definitely a first for me.
Miss atomic bomb and battle born or some of my favourite songs ever.
My aoty is looking too positive so I need to review some shit.
Both my ex's loved swift and tried to get me into her (luckily I survived). This was the album they tried as apparently it would be the closest to the stuff I like cos it's angry or smth.
It's shit. This is not sad angry or even girly angry (Olivia Rodrigo which is peak), it's just arrogant. But not in a good way. Hard to explain but it just presents Taylor as an absolute bitch and not "cool".

Back in my day Coldplay were one of the best bands on the planet!!!!
Okay I wasn't born when this came out but still. This is the album I point people to when ever I hear such things as "Coldplay are shitty mainstream slop" or "How do you love Coldplay if you only like stuff I've never heard of???". These are very silly things to say about a band who have made one of the best albums of this entire era, and considering I consider early 00s to the best ever this is ... read more
So I'm gonna be honest I don't actually know what I will rate this. Unlike all my reviews before where I've had a rough ballpark of album rating I have no clue going in for this. I'll go off song ratings and see then.
This is an incredibly up and down album. Some songs are incredible with Arabella and Knee Socks being some of my favourite Arctic Monkeys ever, and there's some which are very mid like I want it all, and one just straight bad in I Wanna Be Yours. This is ... read more
The final of the holy JEW trinity. It's nowhere near Futures or Clarity with both of those being literal masterpieces, however it's obvious this record was made with mainstream popularity in mind and tbf it definitely worked. Has some of their heaviest stuff since Static Prevails such as Bleed American and Get It Faster, with some great slower almost-ballads such as my sundown. A very good album that I enjoy, I just would almost always choose to listen to something else instead as the ... read more
Its like pretty good, It's probably Coldplays last good album, yet you can definitely tell it going down hill from here. It's much more electronic than all their previous work yet it doesn't seem to be the focal point of the album. I do think if they had leant slightly more into the electronic side it could've been something much, but as it is all it is does is solidly place itself as probably the worst of the good Coldplay albums. Sky Full of Stars is obviously an ... read more
Ye this is great. It's very close behind Deju Entendu as my fav album so far. These songs are so damn good and they bring back that catchy yet angry energy I loved. I honestly have no clue how 451 is the lowest rated song - I think it was excellent and is definitely my favourite track on here. I do think Batter Up is a slight letdown as a closer, yet it's not a bad song by any means I just feel the climax to their final album could've had a bit more oomph.
This feels really overrated.
Sure, the way I listen to music does not prioritise the lyrics - and so an album I have gathered is primarily about the lyrics feels underwhelming. However you can have great lyrics and great sounds as well. This album feels like it's constantly building up towards something, yet I'm still not quite sure what it is as it never fucking peaks. The closest there is is the heavy parts at the end of Limousine, but then it ends in like a minute. This is a band ... read more
This is the closest to a perfect album I have ever listened to. Fun fact, on Spotify I have my big playlist "Burnt Soup" which is all the songs I like and is smth like 3500 songs. I use my Liked Songs as my list of top 300 songs ever - basically all the ones I love. Sam's town is the only album that has every single song on my Liked Songs (except enterlude and extilude). So I guess by definition. this is perfect. It's my favourite band at the peak of their powers, and ... read more
I got recommended this by someone on here, and ye it's great. The songs find this great balance of being so catchy - yet without being a poppy mess and still packing this huge punch. All I had going into this was the reviews on here as I had literally never heard of this band before - so my non existent expectations were demolished straight of by the second track. Sic Transit Gloria is easily the best song on here by quite alot - yet everyone felt greatly crafted. This is still my ... read more
I'm not going to review individual songs, as that seems pointless and frankly I cannot be asked.
Every song on this album is incredible, it's definitely my favourite soundtrack of all time and much better than volume alpha. Alpha is more nostalgic, but every song in this album feels crafted to perfection. There's no flaw to this at all, and I'm giving this a 100.
This is not me saying it's a perfect album, this is me saying it's a perfect soundtrack - I do not ... read more
It's not as good as Ziggy stardust or Heroes, but little is. Overall it's a good record with only one bad track in girl loves me, which is a shame because everything about it great except that awful effect on his voice which unfortunately ruins the song. I enjoyed it, but I can't see myself coming back to this again.
I will never review a single again, this is truly a one off.
This is my favourite song of all time, I've heard it all before - "this can't be your favourite song, it's a party song!", "no one listens to this on their own!", and even "bro it's shit it literally repeats it's an ass song that is good to sing and that it".
Let me tackle these individually.
It very much can be my favourite song, any song can be anyone's favourite - ... read more
Haha, its the funny album.
This is very good, maybe a tad overrated by alot of people but it's still great. The dorkyness (it's totally not spelt like that) contrasts so well with the heavy guitars and deep lyrics, some of these are pretty disturbing like Undone. I enjoy this alot and it is very much deserving it's classic status. Unfortunately they never produced an album as good as this despite pinkerton getting fairly close. Best tracks are definitely Say It Aint So and Buddy ... read more
We are so close to the best album of all time...
This was what I believed to be the best album of all time, and it is still in my top 5 of all time. The sound and energy are great, the theme is daunting yet oddly comforting - and it's just so iconic. WTTBP is my shout for the best song ever written, and mama and disenchanted are some of my favourite songs period. This is a perfect album,

Fall out boys sophomore album was most certainly not a slump, but was instead one of the best albums of the emo scene in the early 2000s. The albums overflowing with great tracks, each one so full of energy and without fail a great song. Definitely a no skip album, one of my favourite albums from one of my favourite genres. Yes the famous ones are great, but my favourite has to be sophomore slump or comeback of the year - one of the best bridges to a song I've heard.
