very captivating record, but compared to the trilogy it is weak. i really liked it though and it did not feel like 1h and 30m at all!
fav track: Its coming its real (this track is absoutley amazing man)
might be the best trap album oat, didnt get bored once which is VEERY VERY rare for a trap album and i absoultely love this album
fav tracks: piss on your grave (SOOO underrated), 90210, i can tell, pornography
ive already listened to it like 10 times, its a perfect rock record. period.
i didnt really feel super entertained throughout the whole album. its a decent good ish album though becuase the atmosphere is very consistent with its goth vibe but i wasnt the biggest fan of this album
def some really catchy songs though with great drumming
fav song:In, mother_father, alcohol the seed, killing for company
wow. this album is absolutely fucking mindblowing. my first breakthrough with swans, i listened to to be kind and the beggar but this album man, its something different. first, i just wanna talk about those AWESOME FUCKING LOUD ASS DRUMS, they make the whole album sound so fucking massive in size and just powerful, and then second of all i wanna talk about Cloud of Unknowing which is such a awesome well thought out fucking powerful song, when those toms kick in a few mimnutes into the song, ... read more
well thought out album but it didnt resonate with me that well... not a lot of supe rmemorable moments for me but i was entertained the whole way trhough and its still a good album
short, super cohesive, amazing record. in this album, it's official that ye trascends the genre of hip hop.
fav track: Ghost Town (masterpiece of a song)
this album is amazing and like Yeezus, unlike anything you'll ever hear, it's got some of Kanyes best songs ever too (Saint Pablo, NO more parties in LA, ultralight beam)
i adore this album
For me, this is the In Court of the Crimson King of hip hop. One of the most cohesive rap records of all time and truly something special, unlike anything you will ever hear in your life. Many bangers and I absolutely adore this record. Masterpiece, Ye was truly another breed before he fell off (I miss the old Kanye…)
game changing album with crazy infleuence but its not my type of music EXACTLY but theres a lot of bangers on here
great album. a liil less cohesive and fun than the college dropout but nonetheless a really nice album
fav songs: roses
least fav:celebration
in total this gets a 65 for me. if the rest of the discs were more like house of balloons it woulda been way better but i still ike that hes being creative and stuff
fav track: house of balloons / glass table girls, wicked games
