This was my first time listening to meat loaf and I have to say that this album was pretty freaking amazing in my opinion! I loved this album and thought the writing was super fun, the singing was good, and the instrumentation and progression of a lot of these songs was really cool to hear! I loved how developed these tracks were and I loved all the changing aspects to the writing and instrumentation. My only issue with this album was a couple of tracks were just slightly too slow for me ... read more
Well then, the first truly mediocre album in the bands eventual downfall that I was not looking forward to. This album is definitely my least favorite from all of the bands albums up to this point. There were basically no songs I thought were good and all of the songs on here fell between bad and ok for me. There were so many weird vocals, weird writing, basic instrumentation, and some boring moments all throughout. My biggest issue with this album is that this sounds nothing like the bands ... read more
I can see why people don’t like this one as much as their other albums before this but I honestly still thought that this was a good album nonetheless. I thought it was consistently pretty enjoyable and there were a couple songs that I loved. I think the majority of songs on here had good instrumentation and writing but it was less creative and unique than a lot of their other albums. This album feels more like a push towards rock than metal and it feels a lot more calm in comparison to ... read more
This EP was pretty underwhelming from Megadeth. This EP just had the band doing a couple of covers / interpolations of songs, then a couple new songs but nothing was super captivating or memorable to me compared to their other music. This EP was ok to me and not super interesting but it wasn’t bad either. I don’t really see myself coming back to this.
This was another very consistently great album from Megadeth in my opinion. Every track on here was great with great writing, great instrumentation, and great vocals. There were a couple incredible songs as well that I loved and the rest was really damn solid as well. I like this just as much as a couple of their albums and I think this was another great album from them. I don’t really have too much else to say besides that this was another great album and all of my thoughts for this ... read more
This megadeth album was pretty damn good! I think overall, I enjoyed this as much as peace sells. I thought there were some genuinely incredible instrumental tracks but I did think there were a couple tracks I wasn’t too crazy about. For the most part I really enjoyed this album and thought it was really consistent but sometimes the talking vocals were slightly irritating to me and sometimes the tracks were slightly less memorable at times but overall, I thought this was great!

The chemical brothers debut album is a pretty solid electronic and big beat album. I think the album peaks on the beginning for me personally but I think this album is concisely pretty good. I think overall I enjoy the album that comes after this one but this was a solid debut album for sure. I did think some of the songs were slightly repetitive and some were a tad slow at times but for the most part I thought the production was pretty good but just dragged out a bit. Overall I thought this ... read more
I think this is easily my favorite megadeth album so far that I’ve heard. The instrumentation is easily the best that the band has had on any of their albums up to this point in my opinion and the writing was great and the vocals were great and everything about this album was incredible. The instrumentation was easily the best part of this album however and it was just so damn good on basically every single song. Aside from dawn patrol and the first half of the opening track, I thought ... read more
This megadeth album reminded me of their debut in a lot of ways. I thought these songs were enjoyable for the most part but there wasn’t anything super memorable or replayable to me like there was on their last album before this. Some great instrumentation but the vocals, hooks, and writing were just alright for me. Overall, I found this album to be enjoyable enough for one listen but I don’t see myself coming back to this album over their last album at all.
This was easily a step up from their last album in my opinion. I thought the writing was better, there were catchier hooks, and better instrumentation all around in my opinion. I think these songs sound more complete and finished overall and I liked this album a lot more than their first album personally. This was an extremely enjoyable metal album for me with so many great songs on here and this was just so much better of an album in my opinion.
This was my first time listening to Astrud Gilberto and this album was really chill, realxing, and boring in my opinion. I think she has a nice voice but honestly I just don’t see myself coming back to this album at all. I think the majority of the songs on here are ok with chilled instrumentation and fine singing but it’s just a bit too one note and slow for me personally. I wasn’t too crazy about this album but I didn’t think it was bad by any means. Just not for me.
This was my first Megadeth album and for the most part this was a solid debut album in my opinion with good instrumentation but honestly there wasn’t too much I would say blew me away. This album is consistent for sure but I’ve heard better metal personally. There were some songs I thought were just ok and some songs I thought were great but for the most part this was enjoyable.

These boots: 6/10
Duke Ellington live at Newport is a pretty solid jazz album. Some of the tracks are a bit too long for me and I do personally think there is better jazz that I’ve listened to but this was enjoyable for one listen and that’s about it for me. I don’t really see myself coming back to any of the songs on here although they were good songs. I don’t really have too much to say besides this was a good album.
Bad by Michael Jackson is another certified classic album from him. Any fans of pop music can agree that this along side thriller are some amazing pop albums. This album has some undeniable classics. I think this album is just as good as thriller in my opinion and I honestly could make an argument for liking this one more. I loved this album and think it’s a pop classic that’s amazing. Aside from him as a person, it’s undeniable that he’s one of the best pop artists of ... read more
This was my first time listening to happy mondays and I thought this was a really enjoyable album. I thought the writing was fun for the most part, the singing was pretty good, but my favorite part of this album was the instrumentation and production. The beats and instrumentals were all really groovy and funky and just really enjoyable to listen to. I thought this album was consistently really damn good but I only thought a couple tracks were amazing and are songs that I see myself coming back ... read more
This Freddie Gibbs EP was pretty great! The first two songs in particular were amazing and had great writing and I loved the production on the second song. Some great songs from Freddie worth checking out!
I think Kim Petras’ newest album is easily her best project that she’s ever released in my opinion. This album finally sees her finding her sound that she really meshes with really well. I think this album has some of her most exciting and most innovative sounds that she’s ever made before. Her high energy and don’t give a fuck energy works great especially with the collaborators she works with on here in terms of the producers. The beats and production are so damn ... read more
This was my first time listening to fat boy slim and I had no idea what to expect going into this but I was pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed this album a lot. I thought these beats were really solid, fun, and enjoyable. They were pretty solid all around for its time but I do think some beats are definitely better and more memorable than others on here. I think there are a couple of tracks that are genuinely incredible and for the most part, while I enjoyed the rest of the songs on here, I ... read more
I honestly think this is Machs most inconsistent album that I’ve heard up to this point. There are some great songs on here with some great writing and dark production then there are some boring or repetitive tracks then there are some bad moments as well. Overall, a very inconsistent listen but there are some good tracks on here for sure.
I thought this was a decent album but nothing too crazy. I thought the production was pretty interesting but sometimes it got a bit weird. I thought the mixing was off at times and some of the songs were pretty monotone. I did really enjoy a couple songs on here but for the most part I just don’t think I see myself really coming back to most of the songs on this one if I’m being honest. Some cool ideas but not everything was executed in my opinion.
