The songs on this project might be a bit too uneven for me. Some songs feel too "throwbacky" to the point that they don't bring anything really new and interesting to the table, lacking the twist I need to go: "It reminds me so much of the 2000s, wow, childhood memories!". On the contrary, some others like 'Snakeskin' really take the influence and go way past it, showing that Rina really has the ear for futuristic music taking example on great sounds from the past.

Just a great cohesive artistic piece of work. I feel like some of the songs lost some of their flavor overtime, but honestly, I'm still amazed by the world created by Purity Ring on this album. 'stardew' remains one of the most epic-sounding-without-being-epic song I've ever heard and I can't get enough of this.

Just inconsistent, and generic. 'Wish You Were Sober' was a really good lead single to me, but everything else feels forced, especially when going through a whole project of this superficial, clout-seeking trend of coming off as "too emo to be universally liked".

I love him and think he has a lot to offer when it comes to the bubblegum-pop, Y2K-influenced revival that is going on right now. The cohesiveness of the EP is stellar, yet the songs here fail to capture the same level of "iconicity" of his previously released singles. I absolutely love this cover of 'Kiss Me Thru The Phone' though, it came out at the exact right moment and there's something that just works with how That Kid reworked it.

Quite disappointed by this, to be honest. I loooved 'Cradles' before it became viral on TikTok. The songs on this are quite superficial, and lacks a sense of genuineness. It feels like the fact of going viral made them take the safe road. It's still fun, but I haven't revisited this EP and don't think I ever will.
