Pretty incredible storytelling throughout, a great and different heartbreak album that I can understand the glaze for
Some of the songs are absolutely generational (my eyes, telekinesis, til further notice) and then some of the songs are just shit either cuz of awful beats (gods country) or just shit features (parasail, lost forever), also k pop is just a pretty rubbish song. I really enjoyed the highlights but really didn't like the lowlights, still I didn't think the average for my ratings would be this low. Overall I still really like the album but it's just really mixed with the plethora of ... read more
I feel like I'm rating IAMMUSIC again, Tame Impala disappears for 5 years and then releases a mediocre album...
I WAS IN THE SPOT WITH MA POPS YESTERDAY MA GRANDMA STILL PLAY BINGO
Genuinely great bonus tracks tho, can't believe 2024 actually got released on spotify. Doesn't change the album being mixed overall.
Considering Juice's unreleased catalogue they really did a great job craft an album of such mediocrity, but it's not bad enough to give a 48 still. The songs aren't the worst just not that special really, definitely too sad and uninteresting though overall. Couple standout songs like Burn and Doom add something to his released catalogue tho
Pretty good album with some big hits like Venetia and Baby Pluto but some really boring songs like POP and You Better Move too, just a pretty mixed bag overall. Great bonus tracks as per usual with Uzi tho.
The only actually good posthumous Juice album, probably because he still made half of it when alive. Actually honours him pretty well with lots of pretty good tracks and some big hits like Righteous and Wishing Well. Even sadder songs have actually been done well such as Life's a Mess which was lowkey beautiful and Screw Juice. Rip to one of the greatest rappers and freestylers ever, I wish he was still here making music and creating a legacy not fucked by Grade A.
It has it's flaws but there are so many catchy hits on this album, and for his debut album Uzi does a great job. XO Tour Llif3 is an absolute masterpiece idc
Only bad part about this album is the concert... So many great songs with the majority of the many features being of such high quality, as well as Travis' rapping being top tier and the beat selection being brilliant. Anthems like Sicko Mode and STTBG are virtually perfect tracks that are Travis' best, yet he doesn't need features to make brilliant songs like Stargazing and Astrothunder. So many awesome collaborations from Tame Impala's influence on Skeletons to Mike Deans ... read more
Another beautiful ambient album that I could listen to forever, I love flawed mangoes
The only person that can make rage sound so soothing, I already like the new direction Joji is going in.
Laid back, chill album to play when on a trip. Simple not boring
Epic made the real tribute to Juice that we wanted, a great posthumous track used in a great tribute event for one of the greatest to ever do it. LLJW
