Absolutely beautiful album, the guitar riffs and the trumpet are so calming in every song. Never Meant is definitely one of my favourite songs ever.

definitely the most boring strokes album, not really worth the listen

Another decent Strokes album with some hits but mostly just 'okay' songs. Under Cover of Darkness and Life Is Simple In the Moonlight are the best tracks and the rest is lower quality.

Compared to Is This It and Room On Fire it's definitely a weaker album, but it still has some quality songs on it like Razorblade and Electricityscape. That being said none of the songs get better than the first track - You Only Live Once, and the second half of the album has some pretty boring and grating songs like Killing Lies and Ask Me Anything. Overall it's still worth listening to for the hits despite being kinda mid as a whole.

Some solid singer songwriting cowboy ahh songs, 17 songs that sound the same does get a little repetitive tho
