One of the best Nu-metal bangers of the 90s. That opening riff is absolutely disgusting. Corey’s rapping and screaming is off the charts. “FOUNDATION MADE OF PISS AND VINEGAR👺👺👺” I love how seamless their hip hop influence is weaved into this song. It just works incredibly well.

An absolute fireball of a track that never loses momentum. By far one of the best singles they have released, maybe one of their best songs in general. This album bout to slap huh?

Nothing to see here, just a perfect solo debut

Annoying repetitive lead melody and no personality make for a another dud from Tree

The new Charlie xcx soundtrack is just okay. Maybe it will make more sense within the context of the movie?

I’ll admit I haven’t heard the original, but I can see why people think this is one of their best songs. I love the momentum of the track. Lyrically it’s pretty straightforward but I love the instrumental and it’s got a lot of heart and great vocals over all.

This is the single greatest rock record of 21st century. It literally has no quit or pause, just 45 minutes of some of the best musical genius that has ever graced this damn planet. I know that sounds over the top, but this album made me feel things that I haven’t felt before with music. Every song is a masterpiece in its own unique way entirely. Whether it be the slower jams like “Cobra” or “At pays du Cocaine” with their super sweet glittery lyrics and forelorn ... read more
I’d never thought I’d see the day where I genuinely don’t like a Dorian Electra song. Their music has unfortunately been getting worse as time passes. It kinda just sounds like some watered down sleazy indie rock copy cat of crystal castles. I liked fanfare, but this ain’t it :/

The first three tracks are pretty good, but from there everything else is kind boring. I appreciate some of the lyrical content, but this sounds like what happens when you ask AI to create a post punk album. The vocals are so poorly mixed and passionless. Instrumentals are either too boring or just not enough to them to keep me interested. Damn

I have contemplated reviewing this album for a couple of years now given the circumstances regarding the lead singer Alexis Marshall. I’m not going into detail as everything has already been said. Regardless, “you won’t get what you want” is a depraived and sinister record that pushes the boundaries of noise rock. Truly some psych ward type shit, and I’m not exaggerating. “City song” has repeating shots of bass and pounding drums that eventually lead to ... read more

Mostly good other than some cringey bars. Love the chorus tho

One of the greatest rock albums of all time. The lyrics are more bitter than vinegar and the instrumentals are as kick ass as Kurt’s signature vocal delivery. IMO slightly better than in útero. “Smells like teen spirit” is a staple 90s grunge anthem that has withstood the test of time. I love the lyrics detailing a type of arrested development that seemed to be prevalent in Kurt’s life surrounding his lifestyle. Being bogged down by the drugs he was taking and a ... read more

The most unnerving metal song in existence. It’s not for the faint of heart, but it’s god damn amazing.
