This was... a listen. This is pretty obviously an Invent Animate and co. worship album, but does it worship well? The riffs in here are cool, but aside from that, the songs sound pretty generic (As in they don't stand out in the genre), and they sorta blend into each other. But hey, this is still perfectly listenable and the songs are good, so I'm giving it a passing grade

Everything's fair in Love & Ponystep, like everything in this album is good... sorta. Well, this was a long listen, but even despite the 1 hour and 35 minute runtime, Love & Ponystep never gets boring or stale. MLG/10.

Somewhat disappointing?
Ok, so, while I liked this, I don't think this is a masterpiece at all. While I get the vibe they were going for, some songs just didn't hit hard like I expected. Maybe I set my expectations too high, but basically, I can only describe this album as a wall of sound with songs that aim to make you feel like you're dreaming and succeed... until they become boring and repetitive. Three Days Grace comes back with, in my opinion, their best album since Human [EDIT: Honestly, since Life Starts Now].
