perfectly encapsulates that "im heartbroken and TOTALLY not phased by it" energy imo
it was fine, some tracks i find to be banger-enough to excuse their edgy lyrical moments
I absolutely love this videogame and would continuously think to myself while playing, "gawsh im so relaxed and comforted by the music" enough to the point it's now one of my favorite, go-to records for studying, sleeping, reading, etc.
tracks 3-6 are my favorite sound blankets to wrap myself up to
I needed to add the deluxe version onto AOTY just to simply glaze tf out of the Unedited Mix of 'I Wanna Be Where You Are'
I just listened to the original edited release and was actually baffled that the song fades out before the minute mark. The full version on this reissue is much MUCH better and I need that to be known NOW
me, being 6ft, having to look at someone talking to me:
its sucha long way... DAAOOWWNN (daaoowwnn, daaoowwnn, daaoowwnn, daaoowwnn, daaoowwnn)
another project that defined me as a teenager, love coming back to it
the audio glitches in Wish the World Away and Song for the Sleepless make it clear that he might've lazily ripped the audios from YouTube, or didn't relisten to the tracks, to make sure they were ready for streaming distribution.
conceptually and most-mixing wise, i thoroughly enjoy this record, very homey.
my mans will find any way to keep profiting off of Shape of You and Thinking Out Loud
An album with crumbs of charisma, witty one-liners, and family-centred themes being drowned out by the same 3 eye-rolling political takes. Where each take deeply basks in clear, unfortunate signs of uncured white-man-ignorance.
the embodiment of 2010s dark, ambient lofi. feels like a time capsule the longer it ages.
im sorry girl but i can NOT listen to the original version ever again
this song was MEANT to have both of you on it
girl made some club bangers for herself and i respect that
original rating: 75 - it grew on me a lil
