Even without understanding the language the emotions shine through this record, very good
Pretty good! Wont come back to singular songs, but it is a very pleasant listen all the way through
Wow. The discourse about this album is pretty crazy. 10% of people are pretentious music nerds that are mad a rapper made a good psych rock album, 10% are rap fans pissed he’s making music in a new genre, but I fall in the 80% that just loves this album. Sometimes it doesn’t work out (I’m pretty) but a majority of this album is just really good. Not much else to say
It’s a damn shame that trippie redd has this type of production and features, and just manages to consistently put out mediocre efforts like this one. Most of the songs are either blatant carti ripoffs or new chief keef style ripoffs which do not work outside of the songs that actually have keef on them. This album is literally elevator music. It’s nice to chill out to but it does not stand out in any capacity
While I think this is a very fun listen, a lot of it is not for me. I find a lot of the distorted horrorcore stuff is a little out of my taste, but i could totally see why people love this. A lot of the songs like babayaga have grown on me over time, and the three song run of “we don’t dial 911”, “burn a cop car” and “go dig my grave” I would say is a 10/10.
