why didnt i listen to this sooner oh my god
this is actually so beautiful, and as my first bjork album, i WILL listen to some of her other stuff like homogenic or smth idk STAY TUNED FOR THAT (nobody cares)
didnt know that boards of canada would ask toby fox to allow a gaster cameo for this album
in all seriousness this is a pretty good first impression for me considering that ive heard that there's better albums than this that they've made, along that i havent really gone into downtempo as a genre
not what i expected from a robin callaway song but im excited for whats to come with this
this is too beautiful to put into words
this is probably some of the most relaxing shoegaze ive ever listened to
i have nothing else to say to this except for HOLY SHIT
best song: into the endless night (who could have guessed)
worst song: soft bruise
omg its a mac demarco reference!!!
and then i genuinely get deported from australia
reggie the mouse is the stupidest song ive ever heard in my lifetime
other track ratings:
rip yr skin off - 100
audition tape - 95
reggie the mouse - 100
i didn't think that coming into this that i would find this better than silly love songs for unfortunate breakups, yet here we are
if mazzy star decided "hey, let's make every song like fade into you!" this rating would be 95+
heart attack! heart attack! heart attack!
NOOOO JUST MISSED 100TH RATE
while this album isn't as strong as i saw an angel in the mirror, this is definitely still amazing in its own right. and yet again the best shoegaze artist of the 2020's fail to miss!!
best song: noiserenity
worst song: noisend
really good but the middle kinda lacks in comparison to the start and end
best song: hacker
worst song: fuck that
duster i love you but i genuinely couldnt tell when the songs switched
still an amazing album tho
