Fun little project; Nothing in the way of story or narrative but good production and fun songs nonetheless.
I thoroughly enjoy this album and Phoelix’s unique sound every time I come back to it. Very chill. Super interesting production. Worth a listen or two if you’ve never heard it.
Side-note: To this day I don’t know why it says Dax is featured on one track of this album because none of the vocals on that song sound nearly as shit as the best Dax is Capable of. I genuinely don’t believe he’s even on the album.
I do not understand how you keep such a refined sound for 2 straight hours without the album getting boring. Amazing album, I’m always surprised how many amazing songs are on this project.
There’s not a track on this album I don’t love. I still find it hard to believe Tupac made some of his best storytelling for his first album. This continues to be one of my favorite albums of all time.
Very large fish. Vincent Staples. Consistently a very interesting and memorable album, Yeah Right is obviously a standout track both Vince and Kendrick have very impressive flows on one of the most unique beats I've Heard. Thank you Vincent.
This album got me to stop being addicted to drugs. I love the sound and messaging throughout this entire album. The breaks that progress the story are genius. I cannot believe someone can pack this much horror and beauty into one hour, but with this project Kendrick was able to realize the struggles of a child growing up in Compton California through pure artistry and music while explaining his opinions on the issues they face and how to face or avoid them yourself.
Astounding storytelling, lyricism, production, messages, and features. I don't know if anyone can top this album. I hope I get dementia so I can listen to this album for the first time again.
I wouldn't even say I dislike Charli xcx, but this album would've been better without her singing. The production on this album entirely outclasses the singing. Based on audience reception I expected much more out of this album. The highs on this album are only alright, and the lows are very, very low. Overall BRAT is very overhyped though most of it isn't horrible.
I love this album; honestly should have been nominated for best album of 2025 at the Grammys.
Genuinely beautiful production, singing, and storytelling throughout this entire album. Not a single miss on the whole tracklist.
The only redeemable quality about this album is how laughably bad it is. Thank you Karl.
My favorite part of this album is when it ended. Genuinely not a redeemable piece of music or artistry on this entire album. I cannot believe anyone would sign this person as an artist. This album is 46 Minutes and 34 Seconds too long. Just insufferable.
