Opeth going back to what put them on the map; Death metal with heavy prog and concept album storytelling. Lotta interesting riffs here, and overall, the production is nice and clean, but It feels like its missing something to make a great listen

Me thinks Frail Body in 10 years are gonna be looked at like how we look at bands like City of Caterpillar and Circle takes the square in terms of influence on newer bands
this is just a beautiful record, but that Kayne feature sounds actually terrible production wise lol
Lot feels like they tried to mishmash everything the band had done in their over 20 year career and it just doesn’t work
It really sounds like she finally found the sound she’s looking for and is just running with it and holy moly is it good
