Harsh winter with a hint of finding a dungeon for safety to hide out until the storm passes but something is in here with you vibes
Underrated and Under appreciated while you were with us, and you created in my mind a perfect record as your last one
Rest in peace KA.
The lesser of the two Marietta albums but I still enjoyed the twinkly new age of emo vibes here
Les Enfants Sauvages is my favorite metal album of all time. The Way of All Flesh, though, took Gojira from just a great band to one of my favorites of all time
Much love and thanks to @RobiGrim for the recommendation
This is a very fun album! There is a lot of good use of synth, and I love the vocals. I think aura dies very much wears their influences on their sleeves, which could be a plus or minus depending on your perspective, but yeah, I enjoyed this, and I'm excited to see what they do in the future
This is like their most danceable album if that makes sense. Play this in the club. I wanna see what happens
I mean its bin a hot minuet since I've heard from you, and you kinda sound like you are going for a Gospel vibe here of Progy-post-hardcore, but i mean i could grow to love you????
Hunger below us
The heavens are dead
Baffling reason
You wanted candor, nativism, white indifference
And no shining city
Tragic papacy
Dimwitted bigot
Misplacing sympathies
From on your cross
Tell them who matters
Policing cities in ruin
It blows my mind
How these nazis
Took the stage
And pandered to your deepest fears
Dead and cold, the gipper must be rolling in his grave
Some hoped for light
Most chose gold
Lambs to the slaughter
Dragged by the fringe
You all laughed until it fucking ... read more
Dawn of Orion was an Atlanta metalcore, death metal band, most notable for the fact that their lead singer would become the youtuber and member of Dead End Hip Hop, Myke C-Town. This album is super rad and underrated and i f you are a fan of early At the Gates, you will be a fan of this.
So I can completely understand a desire for a wild change in both sound and aesthetic after being pigeonholed into the spooky mall emo scene for 3 straight albums, and I can appreciate the band trying something new on this album, but dang this is very mid aside from few select tracts (specifically destroya. That songs rad af)
Westside and the rest of Griselda are unapologetically a bunch of wrestling marks and i love that for them
Also Westside Pootie is in middle school now, and that just made me feel old
I like Phil a lot because you listen his albums and you think "aw yeah nice little alty folk rock" then you get jumpscared by what is basically a skramz track :)
And finally, after years of anticipation, Disintegration 2.
But no Robert sounds like he hasn’t aged since 1987, the production is beautiful and dream like, and Simon Gallup bass on Drone:nodrone is incredible
