I don't know why I chose this album to listen to on my birthday, but it does feel like a good “your getting older and the world around you is changing but that's okay” type album. I love the Microphones and I love Phil.
First things first, Fuck Ameer Vann
That being said, Saturation I is a bold and exciting introduction to the trio that made the group a major force in alternative hip-hop. Brimming with personality, this debut album is the perfect blend of catchy choruses, experimental production, and cheeky lyrics.
