Selena - Dreaming of You
86

She was only 23 :(

Underoath - The Place After This One
58

I remember seeing underøath last year during the “Their Only Chasing Safety” anniversary tour, and they started the encore with Teeth, and literally the entire venue just stood still. Pretty much how I feel bout this album and new underøathth as a whole

Keith Jarrett - The Köln Concert
93

Piano is the greatest instrument ever, and i will fight you to prove it

Rebecca Black - SALVATION
70

Rebecca, Madam Black, I Owe You an Apology. I Wasn't Really Familiar With Your Game

Opeth - Still Life
90

Though this is the second album in what would be an incredible six-album streak, "Still Life" is when Opeth truly became Opeth.

Frank Ocean - Endless
85

Please come back Frank, we miss you

Janelle Monáe - The Electric Lady
83

So in my sci fi writing class, some one brought This album in as an example of modern day sci fi writing, after that day I felt guilty on sleeping this album, it’s legit soo good.

Red House Painters - Red House Painters (Rollercoaster)
94

Kathy song, New Jersey, Dragonflies, Mistress (both versions) and mother are some of the most beautiful songs ever composed

Westside Gunn - 12
79

Boom Boom Boom

Siouxsie and the Banshees - Juju
87

Took me a bit to get I to Siouxsie in all honestly but yeah this album is essential and scratches all the spooky itches

89

Such an amazing album, and then pink cellphone happened

Crass - Penis Envy
95

One of the greatest and most significant punk albums ever made. I'm actually shocked that it isn't a "must-hear" on this site.

Squid - Cowards
84

This is definitely my favorite release from Squid so far. They leaned even more into the post-rock genre on this album, while still maintaining the art-punk and post-punk sound that initially brought them attention. "Blood on the Boulders" is peak Squid songwriting.

Dream Theater - Parasomnia
67

Taking off points because of the awful AI cover.

Ah, the Theater of Dreams—the cheesiest of the cheese when it comes to prog metal. This is a special release, however, as it is the first album in 16 years to feature founding member Mike Portnoy on drums. While this is probably the best-sounding Dream Theater album since his original departure, it still resembles the standard Dream Theater sound of the past 20 years. For a progressive band, they certainly know how to avoid evolving.

Dethklok - The Dethalbum
70

Top tier Adult Swim show, but in terms of the music is a'right. Better than some music from 'fake' cartoon show bands :)

awakebutstillinbed - chaos takes the wheel and i am a passenger
86

Raw af. If this is the shape of emo to come, I am sold

Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside
84

Loneliness, the album. Definitely solid album and Earl takes the concept of depression to its aesthetic limit for rap.
