I'm in awe.
The fact that a band can have such a consistently awesome and such a musically appealing discography to me unlike any other I've listened to is mindblowing.
Yes, I am a glazer. Yes, I carry around a spiral with me in public. Yes, I will claim Danny Carey is the best drummer to ever touch the instrument (true btw). And yes, I will fascinate on pretentious shit even if Maynard James Keenan will think I'm a knob.
But god damn, I love TOOL.
This is MC Ride's existence apparently according to the song Hacker
The most underrated Dream Theater in my opinion, and it's not even close. I believe the reason for this is two factors: a) being sandwiched between their opus Metropolis, Part 2 and the mighty Train of Thought and b) this album gets infinitely better the more you relisten to it and discover more of its enigma.
Album Summary: The album is split into two main discs. The first disc is a collection of 5 very powerful tracks, all tactfully approaching real-world issues, while the second disc ... read more

Some parts of this record sound very nice also, even the goofy caveman section which folk seem to dog on for some reason. However, I cannot help but feel like this record just... drags. I did discover this album through Geometry Dash, admittedly, as I enjoyed listening to the songs played in both Lit Fuse and Eon. It is a phenomenal time - Cacola uses some really cool ideas throughout many tracks on this album, and I really like the way it sounds throughout.
The main attraction is PHENOMENAL - also comes with some nice live peformances, which are also pretty good, but pail in comparison to the title track.
I really, really, really like it. It's a fun album which manages to tickle my brain at the same time, with tracks like Toccata and Karn Evil 9 (1st impression part 1 in particular) being really nice to hear.
Pretty neat concept album. While it isn't exactly my cup of tea (this is alt-pop and i am an intense proghead) I am able to see how others could enjoy it.
