Listened to this in my local files and out of nowhere Beware by Death Grips started playing and I was thinking "when did Taylor Swift get so good"
I mean, it's a beautiful and solid record. It unfortunately can fall a bit flat and get boring, but it works as a whole.
This is just pure bliss, and the only flaws I can find are that it is too long and Lullaby exists.
https://youtu.be/xpBEUfXwLak?si=unXZLFylm6d3SJTW my reaction to this album
I'm not gonna stoop low enough to make a peggy joke but dammit there are parts that sound like shit he'd make and bars he'd spit
also shoutout to shonci he really made it onto a speed album production-wise, good for him. if you don't know him, check out his tiktok he's really cool
to be honest i expected a lot worse. this is just bad emo pop/trap but it isn't offensively terrible imo
Amerika is not good, and a few songs are repetitive and bland, but there's some real gems here
This that real music
I may be listening to more Baris Manco in the future as he is my teacher's favorite artist and she said "my favorite album is the one with Kol Dugmeleri" but that's like 20 albums
It's smooth and soulful, with some really good songs. Is it anything better than good though? I'm not so sure. Every song feels the same, not in a good way,
Also I got in to my dream school let's go
Awesome record, feels like a victory lap. Like That and WTFYM are so hard.
Painfully long and boring, with the list of flaws being 100x the list of pros. This shit is nearly 2 hours my goodness
The songs here that aren't incredible are at worst just fine. Nothing here is outright bad, and a lot of this is very well done. I also like that he debuted Mary Jane's Last Dance on a greatest hits project because that probably is one of Tom Petty's greatest songs
While I wasn't the biggest fan of this performance's version of Even Flow, by god do the rest of these songs sound as good if not better than the originals. Especially Porch, this version is so much better than the original and is really incredible.
