Saw this on tiktok labeled as an "underground classic" and I'm not so sure about that. It's got some good moments, especially the incredible title track, but it is overall very uninspired and boring. However, I see a lot of potential, and that's what matters.
Ken Carson would've been a better Ken than Ryan Gosling, just saying π€·βοΈ
At first, I was like "Maybe saying she's mad at Megan's Law is harsh" but now after this I read up on Nicki's husband and brother and Jesus Christ, that line doesn't do it justice. They're mad at Public Law 105-314 for all we are concerned about and also this "diss track" is ummm hilarious. Not in a good way.
Stop whispering in my ear that's something for Sufjan Stevens to do
Wow, this project is truly incredible. I want to make a longer review but I need to listen a few more times.
EDIT: 87->91
haven't seen the movie but this is my english teacher fav album so yeah!
I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I do, but I absolutely love this. Almost every song is incredible, and the blend of Trap, Pop Rap, Art-Pop, Ethereal, Dance, and even Hyperpop is something wonderful. Good job Eric also I'm glad that he's finally blowing up bc of the whole Ninja thing but watch his streams he's funny as fuck.
His worst project to date. The verse he has on FEEFAFO (whatever the fuck that means) might be uncontested worst verse of 2024
Colin genuinely is one of the funniest, coolest, and nicest users on this website. Part of me thinks this is genuinely funny but another part of me has a migraine.
MCDONALDS DRIVE THRUUUU π₯
When DDG is the best part of your album, that's how you know your album is shit
why he rap about shit so much
Anyways idk who DJ Booker is but this project is not great. I don't think it's as horrendous as some people make it out to be, but the songwriting is terrible and the production is good but nothing creative or outstanding. HOWEVER, I still believe NLE Choppa still has an amazing ability to flow (sometimes)
OH MY GOD!!!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!!
Danny Brown if he never touched drugs and got no bitches
To be honest, I wasn't expecting to enjoy this. HOWEVER, this is some great pop rock. Bangers on bangers and while it slows down in the second half, it is very very good.
I think somebody pooped??????????
My AOTY so far, because it's the only album I've heard this year so far. Give me recommendations of what to listen to.
Dilla once again puts together a record that both motivates me to produce and also shows me that my production is not good. With that being said, this shit is cold.
My last album that I listened to on my trip to Spain... and I gotta say that I was underwhelmed.
This is my school's World History teacher favorite album, and while I can maybe see why, I'm not convinced.
BEFORE YOU SAY "Oh metal just isn't for you" THAT IS NOT TRUE AND IS A HORRIBLE CRITICISM FOR ME BEING CRITICAL OF THIS PROJECT
I just think it's too long, inconsistent, and gets boring at times. I want to like this, I really do, but it just falls flat for me.
Hmmm...
HMMMM.....
Look, I'm sorry, but it's no It Takes a Nation. I need to relisten to this, but a lot of this just didn't hit the same, nowhere close to it
