As far as compilation albums go, this is one of the better ones. However, in my opinion, some of these songs did not deserve to get close to #1. Some are just not great, not even good.
However, this is the only Beatles record with the best Beatles song, Hey Jude, so that's a huge plus.
Lastly, this is the Woodworking teacher at my school's favorite album of all time.
Would be a lot better if it was just Phoebe, because who is this m*n singing 🤮
still a good project tho
OVERRATED?? that's what people call this album?? HELL NO THIS SHIT HITS
So in my school, we have a spanish teacher who is also a DJ. Surprisingly, this is his favorite album of all time, which I was not expecting. But god damn, it's slowly turning into one of my favorites too. Every song but Deep is fucking incredible, especially Even Flow and Black. I wish I had listened to this much sooner.
Since the first SMOKESHOP i've felt disappointed by smokedope, and this is no different. I'm not as much a fan of him on cloud rap production as I am when he is on Rage and Glo production. That being said, this is still good, but I want the other sound more. I am, however, still smokedoped.
god DAMN this is the best Cochise has sounded. He has had higher highs, but nothing he has released has been as consistently great as this. I think the short length, rage production, and humor helps out immensely.
This is my (last year's) gym teacher favorite album of all time. No not favorite Christmas album... favorite album.
She used to be a music teacher at another school. If I was her boss and found out this was her favorite album of all time, I'd fire her.
Last year in high school, I had probably the worst teacher I've ever had. He is a very nice person but man he can't teach. This is his favorite album of all time, and god damn I see why. This is absolutely beautiful, so ethereal and amazing. I think this makes up for his teaching.
I wouldn't be surprised if this score goes up
Hey guys! so i got even sicker than I was. here's to more spain reviews
Little Richard must have been the coolest person back in the day. He just exudes coolness. Also this is great.
Now my mom is back with lunch. I'll do the rest later
EDIT: 84->91 it's so iconic and incredible. I love this
Somehow, Denzel made a better version of Melt My Eyez live. The other one was great, but this is on another level. Endtroduction is fucking insane
anyways dinner ready but i'll be back
AS IF THE FIRST TWO WEREN'T GOOD ENOUGH
god this is amazing. I wish all 3 of these EPs were made into just one "SCRAPYARD" project because all 3 are incredible
Man he really is just super talented, and the growth from him is incredible. I first listened to Quadeca back when he made Insecure, now look at his musical ability. This project has so much passion, talent, and genius.
The only reason I listened to this is because it's my math teacher's favorite album. Gotta say, the Eagles are good, but for their greatest hits album to not be overwhelmingly great means that something is off. And yes, I listened to this specific greatest hits albjm
Sorry! I had a little bit of things come up but i'm back to Spain album reviews. This is one of the Gym Teachers' (at my school) favorite album of all time, and it's pretty damn good. despite some parts that felt long or bloated, this thing is just consistent 90s east coast jazz rap!
Just thinking about this album makes me extremely upset. If you need help, reach out. Rest in Peace Kai
EDIT: 84->91 I love this project. So much talent gone so soon
The first of many albums I listened to on my trip to Spain! Until I clarify, all future reviews are on albums I listened to during this time.
I love every project from Stella. This is just more solid music from her.
Figured I'd give an update on why I've been gone a week. Currently I am in Spain on vacation with my family and I've listened to a lot of projects while i've been here but I want to just review all of them when I get back home. As i've been gone over the holidays, just wanted to wish everyone a (late) Happy Holidays!
This is the greatest song of all time.
May be overrated but I'll be damned if it isn't a super cohesive and solid listen. I'm gonna be returning to this full album but not individual songs. Good length too. Few iffy areas and plenty of flaws hold it back though.
Finally gave this a listen, a truthfully I adore it. So much skill and creativity and patience goes into making music like this, and Remi does an incredible job. There are some parts that slow down the record a bit, but by god is this really good!
