Solid mixtape(?) with some really nice beats, nothing stands out toooo much but this man is genuinely such a good producer that everything just sounds nice. It's a vibe!
Great album, but oh my GOD is it so long. It doesn't feel like STUPID long when you're listening, but compared to the other two Evil Wayz especially, 2 hours is a long damn time. Despite that though, I didn't feel like there was a whole lot of filler, as far as instrumental hip-hop goes anyways. I'm sure some of these were probably left over beats and stuff, that he just wanted to get out on this album because this was planned to be (and is) the finale of the Evil Wayz ... read more
Best of the trilogy for sureeeee. So many bangers, doesn't drag on at all. Gun Sounds, Pt. 3 is my favourite song currently, just absolutely flawless genuinely. I don't even know how he cooked so hard on this one, but it's just more amazing phonk. Highly, HIGHLY recommend, as an entry point to phonk music
An absolute banger of an album, I absolutely love phonk. The chops are just so nice, relaxing melodies and fairly basic drum beats make for a listen that should be so boring but just ISN'T. it just sounds great and that's all there is to it. It's genuinely not even a joke when I say the reason that I haven't reviewed music in a week is because I've been on an absolute binge of these three tapes. I love the sound, perfect music to put on in the background it's just ... read more
The worst of this little EP series but still great nonetheless. Has some amazing moments but can fall a little flat and I don't necessarily love every song. Can't see myself coming back to this in favour of the other 2 EPs but hey it's still quality music!
It's a nice album, just one I find thoroughly devoid of anything to make it special. Literally the only song that stands out to me or I even remembered is Cheerleader, it just has that really nice pop vibe to it that makes it very memorable. The rest of the songs aren't BAD but like I just have no interest in any of them. You can say I have no joy and whimsy or whatever but idk this album just isn't for me. Then again neither was Nurture so...
No Mana actually never misses bro. With smooth production, it's just great song after great song, in exactly the style I love. Blends some glitch, progressive, and electro house elements together to create 6 amazing songs. Amazing EP, mau5trap signs some damn good artists. Easily just one of the best produced electronic projects I've ever heard, just listen to this.
If I listened to more jazz I'd probably call this a masterpiece, idk I just don't have that frame of reference yet. For now though, really good album. Can 100% see why this is so universally loved I literally don't understand how you wouldn't like it. It's just great!
not FULLY my thing but enjoyable nonetheless, last 4 tracks were really nice.
Decent album but a lot of this is like a bit of a strain on the ears, no worries if not especially I lke don't ever wanna listen to again really, incredibly annoying song. Last song was quite peak and tbf most of this was decent but I could literally never see myself coming back to this, just nothing here to stick.
ANOTHER GREAT ONE FROM DJ SMOKEY. This is the collab we all needed. From SWMG giving Smokey the producer tags to use, which eventually blew him up basically, we finally get a tape from the two of them. And yeah it's great, REALLY great. It's even more adventurous and out there than the last tape, and I just love the direction he's going. Packs a HUGE punch into it's extremely short time, at less than 20 minutes. Amazing vocal samples, deconstructed club, breakbeat and ... read more

ONLY ONE MELLEEFRESH TRACK THIS TIME WE CAN REJOICE!! Besides that thought I genuinely feel like Joel was at his best back then when he was creating the Billy Newton-Davis collabs, All U Ever Want especially is like genuinely an AMAZING classic EDM song. Should've been a hit ong. There's a large amount of whiplash going into that Stereo Fidelity mix but I weirdly like it? It is EXTREMELY loud LMAO might be genuinely one of the strangest songs he's ever made. ... read more

I'm boredddd. First two and the last two are great but the rest can die like honestly. Something Inside Me is bad song and the remix does not save that shit, Trepid, Subvert and GH are boring, Tau V1 is worse than I remember and the Sex Lies Audiotape remix is just worse than the original. Another lazy comp album yippee!

Arguably one of the most pointless compilation albums I've literally ever seen. This is quite literally just a Vexillology deluxe, NOTHING else. The full greed of Melleefresh is on full display. There's a big dry run from TL7 to Bounce, can confidently say they're all pretty bad and Templar isn't exactly too interesting either. Stereo Fidelity is cool though, it's a shame that Whispers is like BAD lmao.

I'm actually a big fan of MOST of these, has some pretty big bangers but eh, some of these I could really not care less about. Great but has skips for sure
