Hits hard in middle school, then you discover nuance and you realize this album sucks. I think if you completely ignore needing engaging melodies and harmonies, vibrant performances, subtle and sharp witted lyricism, self awareness, having palatable textures, and focusing on substantive writing, this album has some cool, albeit half-baked ideas. Feels like a warm hug on a cold winter evening. It grooves yet flows effortlessly. The ability to create such serene soundscapes with altering instrumentation creates a plethora of parts to this record that put you in a perfect state of euphoria. I can study in peace now.
Would sound better with some trap beats and some spacey, unmixed, garage band synths but it's good as it is I guess
