One of the most flawless collections of albums not just in metal but in all of music, we need to preserve this band. Elden Ring & black metal two of my favorite things coming together. Emerging from this full-length is good ol' lofi tremolo picking black metal, what really had me in awe however is the transition from thunderous thrash riffing and slower doom metal passages in-between. This death metal album is so weird to me yet it's a sort of fascination really, I can admire the folk influence while those riffs go at a lethal speed of mach 10. Holy hell.
I want you to try and tell me this was released in 2019 because hot DAMN is this some wicked avant-garde blood pumping metal. Where do I even start...black metal/thrash with present characteristics of progressive metal, psychedelic rock, old school licks and hell even some sections had grind thrown in the mix.
