Charli xcx - BRAT
95

this album feels like charli at her absolute best. the production is addictive and chaotic without ever feeling messy, and every song feels like it belongs in the world she's created. the strongest moments are easily sympathy is a knife, girl, so confusing, and b2b. those tracks perfectly capture what makes the album work so well, balancing huge hooks with some of the most personal and self aware writing of her career. there aren't many weak spots here. even the songs that aren't ... read more

Taylor Swift - 1989
90

this album is pop perfection at its best. the production is polished, the hooks are massive, and songs like style, blank space, and wildest dreams are some of the strongest in her catalog.
there are very few lows here. almost every song earns its place, and even the weaker tracks are still enjoyable. the album knows exactly what it wants to be and executes it incredibly well.
confident, catchy, and one of the defining pop albums of the 2010s (or even oat.)

KATSEYE - BEAUTIFUL CHAOS
53

not only does the music sound like absolute shit. the whole situation with hybe plus the lack of transparency around manon’s hiatus makes it even worse. the constant push of this "sisterhood" narrative feels completely fake when fans are left guessing about what's actually going on.

Olivia Rodrigo - SOUR
94

would not be crazy to call this the best debut album of the decade

Lorde - Melodrama
91

Lorde really carried the 2010's omfg.

Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun: Girls Trip
59

You can't cling to performances and vocals forever zara, where's the good music? Also if you're not gonna be intentional about a remix album it's best you just dont pursue one.

look out a queen is coming

Björk - Homogenic

What must I say?

Ariana Grande - thank u, next
88

not better than es or positions.. still a pop bible buttt sorry

Charli xcx - Wuthering Heights
96

This is the best way anyone has ever went about recording a film soundtrack, the soundtrack alone ended the mess that was wuthering heights.. but thats a topic for letterboxd lmfao

Madison Beer - locket
70

very sluggish and boring, very talented vocally... thats pretty much the best aspect of this project.

PinkPantheress - Fancy That
83

PinkPantheress has truly perfected that nostalgic electronic sound.. and tbh, it’s her trademark, and she’s so good at it. Much love to her as an artist and producer.

Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS
95

Olivia’s decision to go from Sour, a more pop‑oriented record, to Guts, a more aggressive rock album, is very bold and really excites me. I think Sour and Guts are neck and neck for me in terms of quality, and I really admire Olivia’s artistic integrity and willingness to take risks.

Taylor Swift - evermore
92

oh taylor how i miss you, come home.

Addison Rae - Addison
70

the potential is there, not bad.

Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet (Deluxe)
88

15 minutes career highlight, deluxe tracks brought the average up a lot for me.

Ariana Grande - Positions
90

such an underrated album, the critics AND users being tastelss is a rare sight to see, usually its one or the other.

Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
45

shockingly bad, her regression as an artist since folklore/midnights need to be studied.
