Interesting to listen to as a fan of Slipknot, but this is far from good. More of a curiosity than anything
Best Tracks: Slipknot, Only One, Confessions
Really liked this! Some really strong guitar work on this. My first exposure to Fugazi, and I have to say I'm a fan.
Best Tracks: Do You Like Me, Bed for the Scraping, Latest Disgrace, Forensic Scene, Combination Lock, By You, Target, Back to Base, Downed City, Long Distance Runner
A really fun set of tracks.
Best Tracks: Who Sent You?, Uh-Oh, Moving Day, Burnt Maeve, Homework, The Burgers, Evolution
Not bad, but didn't really stand out to me from other albums in the genre. Not as high on this as critics.
Best Tracks: Ember, The Weak, mother-of-pearl, Tender Blades, Star
Too short to fully make an impact, but I liked more than I didn't.
Best Tracks: Doorway, Rewind, Dior, Cradle, Upside Down, Shopping, DMT
This was great! Strong songwriting and instrumentation throughout. McCartney still has it!
Best Tracks: As You Lie There, Lost Horizon, Days We Left Behind, Ripples in a Pond, Mountain Top, Come Inside, Never Know, Home to Us, Life Can Be Hard, First Star of the Night, Momma Gets By
I had fun with this! Not one of the best pop albums I've ever heard but a lot of bangers.
Best Tracks: Detour, DTLA, I Like Ur Look, Polo, Need For Speed, 101, Basketball, Bitch Ball Out, Korea, Freak It
Just three great tracks from Freddie Gibbs. No complaints from me.
Best Tracks: Immigrants, Rabbit Mode, Axxtion
The instrumentation all sounds very full. This is my first exposure to the group, and I have to say I'm a fan.
Best Tracks: Prophecy At 1420 MHz, Hydrogen Helium Lithium Leviathan, Age Of Capricorn, Father And Son, Somewhere Right Now In The Future, Naraka, The Word Becomes Flesh, Into The Magic Land, Blood In The Labyrinth, Deep Time, All Reason Departs, Arena Americanada, You Retreat In Time And Space, I Saw Through Platonia
This was great! So many classic tracks here from a legendary band.
Best Tracks: Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, A National Acrobat, Fluff, Sabbra Cadabra, Killing Yourself to Live, Who Are You?, Looking for Today, Spiral Architect
I do think the album is a bit too short, but there's a lot to like here. Not sure why there are two interlude type tracks back to back. Still a very solid album.
Best Tracks: Incantations, Blue Morpho, Sweet Spot, Teachers, Obrigado
Definitely a product of a certain era, but it's an era that I grew up listening to, so I can't complain.
Best Tracks: Immaculate Misconception, We Only Come Out at Night, London In Terror, Abigail, Creatures, Count Choculitis, Puppets (The First Snow), Undead Ahead, Scissorhands (The Last Snow)
Really enjoyed this! Loved all the different soundscapes, even if I think the ratings here are a bit too high.
Best Tracks: In the Flowers, My Girls, Also Frightened, Summertime Clothes, Bluish, Guys Eyes, Taste, Brother Sport
There are some bizarrely long tracks that really didn't work. Not a fan of this album.
Best Tracks: All Eyes On Me, Hard Candy, Night Blooming Jasmine
