Doesn't have the magic of Fuel, mainly cus of Eminem's AI vocals. JID had the better part on this one. They're 1-1.
I used to love this album back when in my mid teens. It grew off me so hard.
"Judgin' by your first impression, bitch, I'm not impressed"
After multiple listens, I'm still not impressed.
Cole's best album, it's not even close to me. Change, She's Mine (both parts), Neighbours, Deja Vu, Immortal, everything on this album is amazing. Even Folding Clothes, which is the weakest song on this album, still has an electrifying beat and a good purpose to the story.
Man, the title track. I genuinely believe that the title track might be the best song I've ever heard. The last verse could make anyone cry, no matter the background.
I will never understand the modern sentiment of 2Pac not being special in retrospect. This album is a testament to his greatness
