To me the vibe and potential of this album I actually found to be more interesting and intriguing than IDMTHY, there's a part of me that wishes Quadeca would reattempt this album in false hope. Sisyphus, Maybe Another Day, Alone Together for me are some of the capturers of the vibe I felt was meant to be constant here, despite that many songs clearly just don't belong here on this grand and tragic mountain climb which sadly throws you out of it, In the songs mentioned, and likes of Summit 1 and ... read more
Not one that hits personally unlike the rest of TOPs albums for me, it was a long awaited one that had to come off the absolute perfection of Trench. On release I simply dismissed this album, it was such a shift in sound and presentation and it threw me off guard in a bad way. Luckily with time I went back and gave it another ago. While I still find the style to be a throw-off from what TOP is best at, what they deliver here I found some of it to be quite enjoyable with a well-kept theme, it ... read more
If you've became a fan of Tecca's style then this is exactly another great delivery of it, at least he remains consistent with something that clearly works with a lot of people. I think it'll be appreciated with a bit more time, I think in terms of the wait, if you were on the constant look out for this release this it may of came in a bit shallow, despite that it really is classic Tecca. Everything he seems to put out is neve received well but to actual fans and enjoyers of his projects, he ... read more
Does lose me in certain periods but it has a constant vibe which I really enjoy, It's only grew better with age, a great album to jam to.
I don't have to say much, Winter, Undertale Soundtrack. It's like living in fiction.
A so unbelievably left alone album, left alone despite it coming from one of the best music minds ever. What people are missing by not listening to this is insane. It's a whole vibe which never switches off, never slows down, its a straight jam from song to song with beautiful flow and positive messages said in such great ways. I have re-listened to this album so many times, I found Nujabes in the common ways many other did, but all people have to do is go look a little more into him and find ... read more
Just know Twenty One Pilots had a strangle on me in my early-mid teens, then this album came out, I got the merch, I went to the tour for it, a straight chokehold on me. This Album was everything to me at one point, with a beautiful message which I carry on now as an adult. It's too special to me. Its sound is distinct, the universe is formed and it was a reminder to me throughout my years that while others may do what they can for me, I have to make the final push for my benefit, I will be my ... read more
This is for some reason a Christmas album to me, everything about it, walking on cold winter nights, the Christmas lights, with this album playing, it just felt right. It caught me at a great time and listening to it always just has me at joy. I need and wish for more from this band, it's been a long time.
Edit: after the release of plastic death, which was a great album, I don't believe it's reached the levels of this one personally, this is truly a special album that I don't think the band ... read more
This is a album that has done nothing but grow on me, it's a regular listen to every now and then. This ghost story always drags me right in every time. It's not for everyone especially if you're mentally intact but you can still enjoy what Quadeca has tried to do here. But when I was in a state of feeling ultimately and completely lost personally this album was probably not the most healthy thing to listen to but it helped me find comfort till I got out of it. EDIT: 95 to 100 IT keeps growing ... read more
