Not music to dive too crazy into, I don't think that's been the appeal of Carti, you put this album on and it will stay on and you will enjoy every moment of it, without much depth to why. It just hits that right spot, it's addictive.
Quite on and off for me, Uzi delivers that signature style at does it to that great Uzi effect, he also brings new things to the table, some of it is generally creative and interesting, but then there's taking it too far by the end of this album. Has some great rememberable songs, but far too many songs are in this album and its watered it down. Uzi keeps losing and finding himself over and over, it's a rollercoaster to say the least.
To me this has some of the best of Uzi's iconic style which many now claim is gone and some moments within' many tracks Uzi completely kills it. Some of his best sounding stuff, the lyrics aren't much crazy but I wouldn't be so expecting of Uzi. Yet the collab with Future here is just here to be here. Feels like a miss out on some classic Uzi that people had been dying for.
I originally had this edit all about glazing dark beach (rightfully so) but on the right night, giving this album a listen. Beautiful, Dreamish. a must listen to on a quiet night.
It's quite funny listening to this, honestly the user score is a bit harsh, funny his features actually drag this down. Quadeca showed his glimpses of what was to come through this album. Hell you can even tell by the title of the songs what ones were more in connection to From Me To You, Ego Death to me is honestly a guilty pleasure of a song. I quite enjoy it. Besides that and the clearly more connective songs to his future projects. Everything else in here was indeed a complete utter miss.
Now this is the start of the consistent era, it means he def got good good time to work on this, so I'm just looking at this as a proper none rushed song. A LA CARTE is some top notch stuff. Quadeca is in his element, its weird to call him a YouTuber now not the other way around.
For a consistent era so far, what he's been able to bring to the table has felt fantastic. I will admit they def feel like they are not finished. They could be so much more. A consistent era is cool. I will not complain about more Quadeca more regularly but
Personal Love. Can't rate anything crazy but I listen to this and get flown right back to it all. I smile, I feel a bit sad. I fall asleep to this, in a good way. It brings me some peace, happy thoughts of memories long gone. It's generally not bad when you're listening to it outside of ROBLOX, on Spotify or YouTube it gives those relaxing feels like Animal Crossing or Minecraft. A bit of nostalgia lifts it but so does it on other games osts. You have to have played and experienced the music of ... read more
Such a weird yet almost nostalgic sound to this album, Yot Club have became one of my favourites from listening to them constantly this year, it wasn't this album that got me into them but it sure is what keeps me coming back.
Yot Club and Jordana, what else could one ask for. Just a gorgeous track
Pretty decent tracks, nothing bad or mid, just nice. I think this is just a stepping stone, no children is so lovely, just a awesome chill EP from Yot Club, their style just can't do wrong to me its just lovely.
Possibly my favourite khai dream song, there's many great songs to pick from but this one brings me great nostalgia now and I simply vibe and smile to it. Thank you for this song khai.
I adore khai dreams, literally person I listened to for a whole year during Covid, I have of course continued to follow them since, however I will not lie that this album brought out its best early, Bugs and Flowers to hype up the release. Two fantastic songs which had me excited, they were almost too good as the rest of the album failed to be as remotely close to them. I don't expect every song to be just as good but it was hard to enjoy the rest and nothing ends up really being memorable.
Some of past music which is fantastic too btw was 'FIFA music' to me, but it stood out and I made the rightful decision one day to become a fan of us, this album drop was what I'd call a great investment in doing so. From the heart it doesn't mess around and I've seen that some don't quite get or enjoy his deliverance of lyrics but to me it's the opposite, it's unique yet familiar, fast yet clear I think Loyle Carner delivers everything wonderfully in his own amazing way, everything he then ... read more
This is a case of personal attachment, I was not a Linkin Park fan growing up, my Father was. This was some of the first sounds I ever heard from them which I know is not the case for many and is what throws people off about this album is the crazy change. I listened to this because of Chester's death, my Father would play it in the car on rides back home. I was so young, listening and properly picking out the words of a man I knew had taken his life. It hits so different in that context. From ... read more
