Any artist hopping on real Trap beats gets my vote and Sexyy Red seems to be one of the only artists doing that, one of the hardest intros I’ve heard in a while with a few great tracks like David Ruffin, most of the production is good but a handful of songs are headache inducing after a while. Hope she sticks to a mixtape Trap sound but I feel she’ll move onto bigger things which I probably won’t be tuning into.

A darker entry in Yeat’s catalogue and the prelude to a certain shift in sound at the time. With the main wave of 2022 era rage music coming to an end Yeat reinvented his style for this lengthy EP as a prelude to the experimental album Afterlyfe, locking in with longtime producer BNYX and others such as Mingo, BenjiCold and Dulio to great effect.

With this album Nettspend now puts himself among the top of the Underground, delivering a rage album using the same producers found in most high tier rage efforts recently such as Rokkonthetrack, Skai, Warren Hunter etc. Within each album you hear the same sounds in different variations but this is the album that ditches the microwave filtered bass as seen on Psykotic and Rest In Bass (in parts) and it delivers.

OneofOne is a nice little EP in concept, could’ve done with less songs on it but it’s still worth skimming through. The first two songs are what I think of when I see this project, ‘stay safe!’ is a very fitting intro in terms of the vibe and ‘Up To Speed’ carries on from with a subdued ambient lullaby type beat.
