captivating, entrancing, spellbinding. i haven't listened to much folk music but wow, this was incredible.
probably kendrick's all time most overrated song, it's just so incredibly boring. i truly do not understand the hype in the slightest.
consistently good but didn't have any standouts that i'd want to come back to like heaven or las vegas did.
a step away from my typical music taste, although i have thoroughly enjoyed some shoegaze/dream pop songs in the past. but i've never listened to a whole album front to back. this absolutely did not disappoint, the entire album is wonderfully ethereal and the title track is genuinely transcendent, wolf in the breast is just as good too.

move on up is an all time classic and this album does not disappoint, really good all the way through with some fantastic standouts
i found myself slightly disappointed by this album. progressive soul and jazz funk sounded like an absolutely perfect mix for me but a lot of these songs didn't blow me away like i had hoped. they werent bad by any means, but just consistently pretty good and not incredible. lady day and john coltrane was really really good though.
ruined the original soundtrack.
i got through 19 out of the 30 tracks and gave up... just didn't speak to me at all. track 16 was pretty good though.
to be honest, i only listened to this album because of how gorgeous the cover art is. but it definitely didn't disappoint me, very atmospheric and dreamy.
this is what people have been calling the greatest hip hop album of all time.....?
