most consistent discography in all of music, albeit very small
not something i'd come back to very often. it wasn't bad at all but i didn't enjoy the instrumental on pretty much any of the tracks other than so be it and that kills it for me. that song is really great though.
super overrated in my opinion. the riff is cool but that's all it has going for it and even then, i think it gets pretty boring after 2 minutes
very pretty and peaceful. but like with most folk music i've listened to so far, i love the instruments and soundscape, but the compositions feel a little uninteresting.
knowing the context behind this song makes the lyrics hit so much harder, such an incredibly gorgeous song. one of my favourite songs of all time.
I feel slightly weird rating this a 100 because i do think that the first three songs are nowhere near as great as the rest of the tracklist, making for a relatively slow/uninteresting start. But the rest of the album is so mindblowingly incredible, containing multiple of my favourite songs of all time that i really want to.
the title track might genuinely be the best jazz piece i've ever heard, the rest is good but it doesn't quite reach that level again
i was super excited to listen to this but nothing stood out hugely, i've heard running up that hill 50 times too many but jig of life and waking the witch were good. overall, good but i didn't find it incredible, i prefer the dreaming.
