A good album here, even though I would consider it the Foo Fighters' worst. Dirty Water and The Line were two of my favorites off of the LP, and the rest of the album is pretty decent. I would say that this album is worth checking out.
Second only to From Elvis In Memphis, this album is absolutely fantastic. Love Me, Love The Life I Lead is a great song that really hits home, talking about how he wants his woman to be in support of his actions in life as well as himself. Other than that, Burning Love and American Trilogy were two great performances as well, and they culminate in a great LP that I heavily enjoyed, and I believe that others will heavily enjoy.
In my opinion, a top three Elvis album, this project is fantastic. Heart of Rome and The Sound of Your Cry were two of the best off of this LP, as these are both in my personal playlist. Otherwise, this is a very enjoyable album that others should definitely check out.
A fantastic album that ends up being a top five album in Elvis's discography. This album is great, except for I Was Born About Ten Thousand Years Ago, a nonsensical and awful track. However, though it is a massive, unignorable hiccup, it is the only hiccup on the track list, with We Can Make the Morning, Sylvia, and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face were very good tracks. All in all, this is a fantastic album and I would highly recommend checking it out.
An oddly fantastic album, in my opinion, being the best of the pre 1969 era Elvis music. Can't really explain why I like this one so much, but Frankie and Johnny and Come Along were two of the great tracks off of this album. Other than that, this some how ends up being a highly impressive and underrated project, and I would definitely recommend others to listen to it.
A fantastic album here from Elvis, Promised Land delivers a nice collection of late Elvis songs. I really liked that stretch of Love Song of the Year, It's Midnight, and Your Love's Been a Long Time Coming, a back to back to back of really great songs. After that, this album is relatively consistent, and I would highly recommend others listening to it.
Another fantastic project from Elvis here, though this is nothing new. Never Again and Solitaire are two of the best off of this record, with the latter being my personal favorite off of the album, with its metaphor about constantly gambling with your own love life. Regardless, loved this record and would imagine that others would love it as well.
Elvis continues to produce, with another fantastic album in the 70's. There was a lot of great songs off of this record, with For Ol' Times Sake, If You Don't Come Back, Just a Little Bit, and Sweet Angeline, all being songs that are in my personal playlist. With that, this is a fantastic, well-rounded record that is absolutely worth checking out.
Continuing Elvis's fantastic progression as an artist, Back in Memphis is a fantastic album. Specifically, This is the Story is an absolute masterpiece of a song, featuring a fantastic instrumental and an incredible vocal performance that would become common in this era of Elvis. The Fair's Moving On and Without Love were also two great songs, leaving me to say that this is a fantastic record that is definitely worth your time.
A decently underrated album, Fun In Acapulco is a surprisingly great album from Elvis Presley. The title track was my personal favorite from the album, as I feel like it symbolizes the fun aspect of the record perfectly. Other than that, this record was really interesting and worth a listen.
A slightly underrated album here, Elvis For Everyone! is a great record. This LP lives up to the name, with the songs You're Cheatin' Heart and Memphis, Tennessee really accentuating how good Elvis can be, and I imagine that everybody at the time fell in love with these cuts. Other than that, this album is really solid, and is worth the listen.
One of the more underrated records from the early Elvis era, Pot Luck becomes a replayable and great record. Kiss Me Quick was a very nice song off of the album, I really like the desperation apparent in the lyrics that is displayed through the instrumental. Gonna Get Back Home Somehow and Suspicion were also great songs, and overall, this was a great record that I would say others should check out for themselves.
A surprisingly great record from the very early Elvis era, this project warranted celebration for Elvis being back at the time. Dirty, Dirty Feeling and Soldier Boy were two of the best off of this LP, and the rest of the album holds its own in a time when Elvis was still finding his stride. Overall, I would recommend others listening to this album for themselves.
Another great record from the early era of Elvis, Spinout is a nice listening experience. I'll Remember You was the standout track for me off of this, but the rest of the album is far from bad, leading to an album that sounds great in retrospect. I would recommend other music fans to check this album out.
A great project here that is rather over hated, Harum Scarum delivers in a way that some of Elvis's other early records don't. Go East Young Man was my personal favorite off of the selection of tracks here, but the LP maintains a certain level of quality all throughout the album. Overall, I enjoyed the record and would recommend it to others.
A great conclusion to the career of Elvis Presley following his tragic overdose, Moody Blue is a successful record in my book. Moody Blue and It's Easy for You were the two best tracks off of the album, and the rest follow that same level of musical quality that is commonplace in these later Elvis records. Overall, I enjoyed this album and would recommend for others to listen to it.
Another great album from this era of Elvis records. This has a nice bit of memorable cuts off of it, with My Boy, If That Isn't Love, and Loving Arms being three great songs on my personal playlist. Other than that, the record is great and worth checking out.
Saying that this is one of the weaker records from the later era of Elvis's career is no slander at all, as this album is still great. And I Love You So and Pieces of My Life are two of the best cuts off of this record, as the production is strongest here in my opinion. Other than that, this record is great and worth listening to.
A very over hated record here, Paradise, Hawaiian Style is a great album. Sand Castles is the standout track off of this one, and the rest of the project, even though it is slightly worse, doesn't really fall off to much from that quality. Overall, I would recommend others checking this one out.
A great collection of songs here, Elvis delivers a rather well-rounded project here. As with several other Elvis Presley records, there isn't any standout track here that really speaks to me, but the overall project as a whole is really solid. Overall, I would recommend others checking this one out.
