As a fan of kellys pop punk phase I do enjoy some songs from this album, but it's a downgrade from tickets for my downfall, which I think is a well structured album.
I understand why people despise mgk, but let's imagine he released pop punk in 2012-2016

ITSOKTOCRY has A LOT of talent, but doesn't show it very well. Songs like DEADSET RADIO FUTURE, MOCKINGBIRDS BLEED BLACK, PLASTIC BAG TRACHEOTOMY show his true talent, but outside of those and Vanessa with an f the album goes kind of bonkers, it's quite random and doesn't fit a theme.
Overall, It has a few good songs that I love but it has a lot of filler songs

My fav songs are angelfish, the yak song and you're not a real musician.

I'm not a big fan of this type of music, but it's super well made and awesome, just not my taste

I just rewatched the full ticket to my downfall movie and I just have to say that I love it. It's such a emotional rollercoaster. From it's great production to amazing and catchy riffs. I love mgk's voice and it's perfect for pop punk. I'm sad that people hate on him, since he is a truly talented artist in many other creative ways than only musically. As I said in my old review. It's not the most impressive album ever created, but the album starts SUPER strong with Coup & FLATLINE. Then it gets a bit boring, but then you get woken up at SERPENT and get to experience the heat of LET IT BE & WONDERLAND.
It's a really fun album, not too crazy, not too generic. It's good :)
