I think this is a gorgeous display of Mexican folk music. Natalia Lafourcade's vocals are soaring and beautiful against the instrumentation of the songs. As much as I think this album is beautiful, I do think it is a little cumbersome, wears out its welcome and is a bit one dimensional going into the last three songs or so. Regardless, I do think it is a very good record.
