DEMONDICE - Strange Fiction

This isn't her worst on paper but absolutely my personal least favorite. Its just boring for the most part I liked laughing at the absurdity and cringe of her previous projects but this was so uninteresting. Satanic Cipher got a good laugh out of me though, those terrible sound effects always get me.

DEMONDICE - Kakigori Galaxy Astronaut

Hazy Skyscraper is actually a pretty decent song, I was really surprised hearing how well it was produced and the sincerity of the lyrics. Hazy Skyscraper is by far her best song, that's what DEMONDICE should have been completely sincere and high quality production. If this song was like her others she honestly would be a pretty decent rapper, unfortunately that's not the case. Astronaut was okay, but the rest of this album sounds like roblox dubstep with classic DEMONDICE cringey lyrics.

Dice of a Generation was decent, I thought maybe this could be good change of direction. More subtle and personal songs, with less cringe weeb bait. I was wrong.

Why do the music videos have more views than JID's?

Never thought Peggy would make an album that sounds so beautiful and heavenly.

Travis Scott - UTOPIA

This album is too bloated a few songs could have been cut entirely. A tracklist of 12-14 songs would have a much better listen. Even with all of that considered this album is a fine listen with great production and some great beats, an interesting experiment as well. Although the lyrics are awful, it sounds like he is just freestyling for the whole album, but he doesn't have the talent of someone like Lil Wayne. Also how dare he try and defend himself on MY EYES? He had every chance to stop the ... read more

Some decent songs on here but kinda boring for the most part

JID - The Forever Story (Extended)

I never heard of JID before, but I heard nothing but praise for this album so naturally I gave it a listen. I am completely sold on JID. His storytelling, flow, rhyme scheme, and pen game is excellent. He takes inspiration from some of my favorite artists like Kendrick Lamar and I love the boom-bap influences as well. His sound is so clean and energetic, its like a drug and the nostalgia. If he makes a few more albums like this he will go down as one of the greats.

tl;dr - Phenominal

Kanye West - Yeezus

This has many highs but also a few lows. It was an interesting experience as it diverged from Kanye's typical sound and focused on more experimental Hip-Hop which is a welcome change. There are a lot of interesting ideas on the album, but I would have preferred a more conceptual album such as that with the College Dropout or Late Registration. This album still manages to be interesting and foreshadows some of the events that would take place later in his. life, unfortunately my favorite song of ... read more

When this album isn't boring it is making me lose braincells.

Some decent beats especially the one on life remix. The rapping isn’t as cringey but it is just bad and the political messages were trash. Another red headphones from Demondice

This was one of the hardest things I’ve had to sit through it was so cringy and corny that If it wa slinger than twelve minutes I probably couldn’t have finished it. Snake eyes alone is one of the worst things I’ve ever heard in my life, to bad that beneath the lackluster beat and poor delivery c u had some good lyrics. Overall, this project was a red headphones

My experience with Kendrick Lamar - Part 5

Well, it is a bit strange that I chose Kendrick Lamar's first studio album as the last album I would listen to in his discography. I thought it would be interesting to watch his growth over time and go back to his roots to appreciate how much he changed. Oh boy how he changed, at some parts I forgot this was even a Kendrick Lamar album. I mean even the transition from good kid m.A.A.d city is tremendous with his sound, that said this album still has ... read more
