the dubstep production on this thing makes me wanna die

as much as i enjoyed this it makes me sad mj couldnt continue in this direction
He was expirementing with different vocal ranges and production sounds
it does feel like he put his commercial part aside abit just to make the best album he could make
the transitions from song to song on this album are seamless also
i really enjoyed myself here this is definitely the best of his none quincy jones albums

On october 20th of 2024 i woke up to my dad frantically panicking with me being told my mom was likely gonna pass away and that im being taken to see her before she dies
i got to the hospital and her body was cold but she was still barely alive

its just an alright song with a lazy sample i dont get the vitriol towards it

david jones locker combination was going through it in the 60s he couldnt score a hit couldnt make a good album and couldnt get a good haircut either
this shit is brought down by so many goofy sounding production choices bowies voice still sounds good but the instrumentals hes singing over suck like on the closer where hes just singing over rain and thunder

i knew the bands history and what made this an emotional album but i wasnt prepared for this album to be as good as it was every song sounds beautiful
that opener is quite possibly the greatest album opener ive ever heard
great first impression for pink floyd

this one did feel abit overproduced at points it really is a bigger version of ziggy stardust

Only other radiohead album ive heard prior to this is Kid A
While i did enjoy it it didnt really blow me away like how i hoped
some of the back end songs didnt really do much for me
not to say that they were bad they were just kinda whatever
im MUCH more into this this shit sent me to heaven several times
by the time i finished jigsaw falling into place i deadass said outloud "wow"
