twenty one pilots - Clancy

Could’ve been great, ended up just being alright. There are very few highs, a decent amount of mid, and then one very low low. All around probably about a 65/100.

Radiohead - Kid A
93

Kid A, dubbed by many as the greatest left turn in music ever, definitely lives up to its title. Coming off of releasing one of the greatest albums of the 1990s, and even of all time according to some, in “OK Computer’” Radiohead throws the listeners into a dystopian sounding electric whirlpool of emotion. It isn’t hard to feel the emotion that is being portrayed through the songs. However, some of the songs could’ve been written just a bit better. All that said, ... read more

Radiohead - In Rainbows

My favorite Radiohead album. Every track is as full as it can get without being overbearing and taking away from the music. Every track is masterfully put together, and every song is wrote so well. Just has that edge over Kid A and OK Computer in my opinion.

Short Review: My Ears Hurt

Long Review: Urie needs to stop dragging P!ATD’s name into the dirt with his terrible lyricism, his awful vocals, and his terrible mixing. P!ATD used to be listenable. Now I can barely listen to a second of his stuff before I have to turn it off. Urie has to learn that his insane vocal range is only a distant memory at this point. He was trying WAY too hard to try and show he still has his range. He clearly doesn’t. At this point if he had just slathered ... read more

Radiohead - OK Computer

OK Computer is a cohesive album that talks about a scary direction that society is heading. Today, that direction has been met, and the lyrics are as relatable, if not more relatable now. From start to finish, it tells a narrative that is quite simple to understand once everything clicks.

Anderson .Paak - Oxnard

Great album with some great themes. I enjoyed it just a little more than Malibu only due to the fact it has less songs that drag it on.

Drake - Honestly, Nevermind

I’m putting as much, if not more, effort into this review than he did this whole album with this single sentence.

Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head

Really enjoyable listen, even with the more mediocre songs.

mgk - mainstream sellout

Probably the worst conglomerate of songs put together in the history of music (of course other than that one Tones and I album). My list of the worst songs ever created is 1st of course Dance Monkey, but Emo Girl is a close second.

Coldplay - Parachutes

Great album. Respected it even more when I realized that it was their debut album. Has some VERY underrated songs on it.

Anderson .Paak - Malibu

Great album with some great thoughts that are executed greatly. The only problem I have with it is the fact that most of the songs towards the middle of the album blend together which made the experience, for me, drag on. Still a very enjoyable album regardless.

Joji - BALLADS 1

A lot of untapped potential here. Joji is definitely being held back by 88 Rising in many ways.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly

It’s really good. I don’t have to say much more about that.

Coldplay - Music of the Spheres

Who told them this album was good enough to be released? Should’ve stayed in the drafts.

Joji - Run

By far the best song Joji has put out to date.

twenty one pilots - Scaled and Icy

The livestream experience definitely helped me understand and respect this album more, but it doesn’t overshadow the albums very visible and audible flaws

Joji - Nectar

Disregarding the hype and buildup to the release of this album, it’s a pretty solid album. It has multiple unfinished and underdeveloped songs which leaves the listener with a bad taste in their mouth. Nonetheless, still a solid album.

twenty one pilots - Trench

After listening to this album again after the release of Clancy, it showed me how good TOP can be when they take things seriously. Updated the score from 90/100 to 93/100.
