Genuinely thought the singles were his best work yet, and the last track is really good too, but man, does the rest of the album disappoint. I fucking love this project, broken in two is a notable drag down but holy shit counting is brutal

I'm glad JID has someone as big as Eminem consistently shouting him out and trying to bring more people in but god damn does the song bring down this ep. Eminem's style just feels aged, and the fact JID tried to match it makes it his worst performance on this project. Behold goes so hard though

Unfortunately, the sound on this album does not feel fully developed. The songs here range from incredible to something that sounds like it belongs to a much earlier Tyler album. You can hear how the attempt was made to mix the conceptual sound of Igor and the raw sound of Mr. Morale but in my opinion, the sound ends up wildly inconsistent.

A strong showing from everyone's favorite boy band. The E.P. much like their debut album has tracks that clearly sound better on speakers and tracks that clearly sound better with headphones which can make listening to the entire E.P. in one sitting a little jarring but all the songs are sonically very strong

At first, the album seems keen to present a new interesting sound but it quickly seems to make its nest in this sound, not wanting to expand past its original pitch. A good listen, but could really use more variety.

Enjoyable songs that feel like they lack substance. It really feels like the type of music you turn your brain off to.

Eminem's dive into a complex concept album comes up mixed. While his rapping talent on this record is undeniable the track list was very hit or miss. This album is an incredible example of art for the artist, not the audience. This album was not made for my entertainment and it was not made for yours, the album was made to help Kendrick come to terms with his audience, his art, and himself and it's beautiful because of this. Some of the tracks on this album are great, I honestly love the first tracks, with them sounding like chill vibey Electronic noise music mixed with some distorted British alt rock vocals. Sadly it really does feel like, after Fungus Bop the record takes a shift in quality. I still enjoyed Hawskbill Odyssey, but the rest of the tracks felt middling to bad and left me longing for that more unique sound I got at the start of the record. I do like the ocean theming though.

It's truly sickening listening to someone who can create such beautiful music create something so truly awful. Sonically the album ranges from painfully boring to painfully awful, Ye's rapping skills sound equivalent to those of 3rd grade boy in a British prep school and the lyrics are so incredibly awful. An extremely enjoyable listen. The sound of the album is much more aggressive than the band's previous works and I think it works perfectly, while I enjoyed every track on this E.P. the title track felt out of place tonally compared to the rest of the track list, and I felt myself wanting a bit more from Don't Slip. Igor is an incredible album, almost every track feels unique in sound and purpose and Tyler’s uniqueness is really on full display. While I don’t think the album is perfect this album far outshines Tyler’s previous work and makes me very excited for Tyler’s next venture into this more experimental rap sound.

While I am a big fan of both Call me if you get lost and Igor, I can’t lie and say I wasn’t hoping for more from Tyler’s critical debut. There are plenty of songs I enjoyed off this project: Foreword, Sometimes, See You Again, Boredom, 911/Mr.Lonely, November and Glitter are all great tracks.
