This album was kinda alright. Too edgy for me, but it had this indie feel that stuck with me. The production was really simple, but not bad for someone who had just started producing music. Overall 54/100
Oh man, was this an album. There were a few hits, but the rest kinda sucked. It was wayyyy too edgy for my tastes, but if you’re into that, go for it. It was also way too long, with it boasting a whopping 18 tracks. Overall 49/100 Not great
It was ok. Not Tyler’s best. Still kinda had that “Fuck the world” energy, but it was definitely toned down a lot compared to his earlier projects. Overall 71/100
I enjoyed this album. I’m not gonna go and say, “Oh, man, this album was a certified top 3 Kanye all time”, because it rlly wasn’t. It was good, but Kanye could’ve done better. Great album, not one of Kanye’s greatest works. Overall 83/100
The College Dropout is probably one of my favorite Kanye albums. In it, he talks about real world problems many people face. With TCD, he also showed everyone who he really was, a rapper. This sole album also inspired so many artists. One of his realest and most down to earth projects to date. Overall 85/100
Oh my gosh, do I love this album. It’s like a deep dive into all of the problems that Kanye was facing when this came out. If only one thing was be perfect, it would be this album. Only thing that I would change is making this album longer. Overall 100/100
This album was amazing. With every song, he’s speaking on different problems that everyone faces. He talks on misogyny is several songs like pink matter and Sierra Leone. In pyramids and sweet life, he talks about the sate of the world, though, I do feel like those two songs are almost from different perspectives. Overall, 100/100
I loved this album a lot. The album feels like it’s skipping around but I think that helps its storyline. With each song, Tyler is speaking about a certain part or problem in his life. I do feel like he could’ve improved some songs like Balloon, but overall, a really great album 90/100
I loved this album a lot. The way he describes his feelings and shows how he grows as the album progresses is amazing. I loved how there’s a noticeable change in how he speaks with the therapist. Kendrick goes from this self-centered pos of a guy to someone that notices his flaws and how some of them aren’t his fault, but are of his father’s doings. He grows as a person and becomes more and more vulnerable with the therapist. Overall, 100/100
I loved this album so much. The way he shows parallels between him and his father is amazing. I love how he ties in themes of God because his father is a pastor. He shows how much of a man of God he is in this album, and that’s something I can relate to. 100/100
