wow, I didn't expect this record to be that great. Jim went 4/4 on this one, every single track is amazing and overall this is just super conforting. It feels so good.
Thank you little frog
fav track: Not Sport, Martial Art
Definitely a classic, a bit too long tho
fav tracks: 90210, Piss On Your Grave, Nightcrawler
I was geniunely so hyped when I first heard the snippet and I'm not disappointed at all, this is a banger. I know a lot of people don't like the chorus but I'm addicted to it. Especially that moment right after all those "I love it". I also wasn't expecting a Carti verse but it works pretty well imo, however I don't know if his deep voice was the best option here.
No wonder why this is one of the most iconic live performance, the songs are performed perfectly. Everytime I listen to it I can't help singing the choruses of each song
fav tracks: The Man Who Sold The World, Where Did You Sleep Last Night
While I find some songs amazing, such as Moonlight, infinity 888 or Hope, I have to admit that there are still many skips on this album. It also sound like a mess, there is so much going on at the same time. It feels like listening to a compilation, and again most of these songs are not very good
Ain't even need to listen to it, I already know listening to 6h of this would be the worst musical experience of my life
Amazing pop record, growing on me rn
fav tracks: I Would Die 4 U, Purple Rain
I will never stop saying it: betcover!! is currently one of the most underrated band
fav track: 2. Kitsune
Edit ( 78 > 80 )
Crazy production for a debut
Favorite tracks: The Now Now and Never, Younthful Days
What could I say? This is just one of the best songs I've ever heard!
If I had to recommand an album to someone who is new to music, it would definitely be Long Season. Everyone should hear this masterpiece at least once in their life imo. In fact I introduced this album to someone yesterday and he loved it so I'm verry happy.
By the way the live version is my favorite song ever
Edit ( 70 > 75 )
I swear, I Really Wanted To Make A "Rap" Album But This Is Literally The Way The Wind Blew Me This Time is an amazing intro. Tbh I'm not really into ambiant stuff but I am very surprised. Same with The Slang Word P(*)ssy Rolls Off The Tongue With Far Better Ease Than The Proper Word Vagina . Do You Agree? Actually I might prefer this one over I swear, I Really Wanted To Make A "Rap" Album But This Is Literally The Way The Wind Blew Me This Time. Shit ... read more
I think I enjoy it more than DAMN and Mr Morale honestly, the production is crazy and most of these songs are definitely at the TPAB level
fav tracks: 07, 08
( I'm only ranking the first 10 tracks )
Definitely an underrated record. I think it is overshadowed by Grace, yet it is amazing. Obviously this album is far from Grace ( which is my favorite album btw ), but some songs here are actually crazy: I'm thinking about the first 4 tracks and Vancouver especially. The others tracks are fine
2nd listen
very peaceful and comforting album, I need to relisten to it
