Bumping this up to a 10/10. Recently have been going through a lot mentally and I'm not sure any other album reflects those feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, and desire to stop existing quite like this one. It walks this line between attempting to grab onto the small moments of joy and hope and hold on for dear life, and battling an overwhelming gloom that doesn't seem to ever leave.

The album is a solid, groovy listen, but the biggest detractor to this album is the fact every live version of these songs is infinitely better. This goes for most Talking Heads studio albums in my opinion, but especially on this one where in comparison a lot of the songs on here just feel kinda lifeless. Crosseyed and Painless on Stop Making Sense makes this version look like a joke.
