The title is accurate, this album is incredibly magical!!
And very alive. McKinley Dixon gives us his whole heart and soul for 35 minutes and it is incredible. The instrumentals are so active and energetic, and I love all of the horn usage. It really makes this album sound so complex and futuristic. There are awesome cinematic instrumentals (Listen Gentle, Could've Been Different) and chill instrumentals (All The Loved Ones, We're Outside, Rejoice!), all of which add to the ... read more
Tyler is so popular that he can announce an album 2 days before release and still have it get 10,000 reviews in less than 24 hours after release 😭

I have no words at all.

sorry for the short reviews recently, i just really don't have much to say about much of these albums.
anyway this album is fucking fantastic.
Favorite Songs: I Want You (She's So Heavy), Here Comes The Sun
Least Favorite Song: Sun King
So I see it's a universal experience to be introduced to Depeche Mode by your dad...
Anyway, really not much to say. Its just an incredible 90s classic and probably the most consistent record i've ever heard.
Favorite Songs: Sweetest Perfection, Policy of Truth
Least Favorite Song: Waiting for the Night
I've been wanting to get into Queens for a while now, and figured i'd start with their highest rated album. I was not disappointed.
I was first introduced to them by my dad, who played songs like No One Knows and Burn The Witch for me, but I was really put on by my buddy @igieyron who gave this album a 98 recently and wrote an incredible review on the story and his enjoyment. While I didn't enjoy this album quite as much, there are still incredible moments throughout the tight ... read more
Egotrip is a very solid debut album and collaborative album between John michel and Anthony James, but in spite of my initial reactions, it's not the greatest thing ever. The album is very fun to listen to, but will get increasingly overwhelming due to its bad case of overproduction. Also, literally EVERY song sounds the same, which makes the songs quite unmemorable. Every song is a Jazz rap beat with choir samples and the same kick and snare. Additionaly, the concept is a little hard to ... read more
Not really sure what to say about this one. Also, I can't make every review a long one. It's just an incredible song with beautiful production, and would be perfect if it wasn't for section 3.
Favorite Songs: 5, 1

YELLOW DIAMONDS LOOK LIKE PEE PEE 🔥 🗣️
After Til the Casket Drops in 2009, the famous hip hop duo of Pusha T and Malice went on a hiatus. They got together for some songs such as Use This Gospel on JESUS IS KING and I Pray For You on It's Almost Dry, but many never thought they would make another album. Fast forward to 2025, however, and they're announcing Let God Sort Em Out, a 13 song album entirely produced by Pharrell Williams.
The build up to this album was wild to ... read more
Not gonna make an in depth review on why I think this is overrated as fuck, just wanted to point out how there is nothing really special about this album and the songs are memorable but not lifechanging. I will say the score used to be much higher before my relisten.
Also for other news, i've been drafting my Black Parade review for about a week now, and i'm on the first 2 tracks so far. Hopefully I can get it out in a week or less. Baiiii! :3

First of all, how come we get this cool ass cover for the preluxe yet we get the god awful cover we have now for God Don't Like Ugly?!?! Seriously, whoever makes these decisions needs to be fired. (Edit: the cover has fucking finally been changed)
Anyway, GDLU Preluxe is here, and its pretty good! I had a fun time listening to most of the project, and it was a solid effort that got me excited for JID's new record even more than I already was. It feels like he's gonna go for an ... read more
Damnation by Opeth is a good prog rock album. Its nothing special by any means, but its good. I just don't think i'll find myself returning to it too much, since many of the songs sound the same. In My Time Of Need is incredible though, one of the best songs i've heard that is new to me.
Favorite Songs: In My Time Of Need, To Rid The Disease
Least Favorite Song: Weakness
This album was a nice experience, but this really isn't my type of music, so I couldn't get into it as much as others. I do recognize it's brilliance though, the title track gets stuck in my head a lot. It just a cozy album that you may put on to fall asleep to. Just calming guitars and Nick's friendly voice. Rest In Peace Nick Drake
For the occasion of my 50th review, I’m going over Grace by Jeff Buckley. It’s a very important record to me, so I figured now would be a good time to review it.
BEWARE: HIGH LEVELS OF GLAZE INCOMING!!!
It’s hard to believe Grace is even real. Even if you’ve heard the album 200 times, you’ll always stop to think, “am I dreaming?” when it’s over. From the opening vocals on Mojo Pin to the final chord of Dream Brother, you’re spiritually ... read more
Radiohead Discography Dive #9
After a nearly five-year hiatus following The King of Limbs, Radiohead returned with A Moon Shaped Pool, their ninth studio album, and arguably their most depressing yet.
While The King of Limbs leaned into loop-based experimentation, A Moon Shaped Pool takes a far more introspective approach. It’s not nearly as concerned with pushing sonical boundaries as much as it is with emotional songwriting and sound. The album arrived at the time the lead singer ... read more
Radiohead Discography Dive #8
After In Rainbows, Radiohead decided to experiment with their sound the most they ever have. The result was The King Of Limbs, which is pretty enjoyable, but unfortunately is also pretty disappointing.
As a huge fan of Radiohead, it may come as a surprise to hear that I haven't heard this album prior to the discography dive. I've been listening to a lot of music ever since i got into Radiohead, and this one flew under the radar for me. Looking back, I ... read more
Radiohead Discography Dive #7
Some albums just stick with you. Not because they’re daring and experimental or super complex, but because they feel right. They show up at random times, yet they always seem to say exactly what you need to hear. In Rainbows is that kind of album for me.
Right away, it doesn’t sound like Radiohead’s trying to be groundbreaking like their other records, they're trying to be more personal, if that makes sense. The songs are warm, kinda sad, a ... read more
Radiohead Discography Dive #6
Hail To The Thief is an album often overlooked in Radiohead's catalong, which is a shame considering it is a fan favorite and has excellent tracks and highlights scattered throughout it. The album shows the band playing it more safe, and relying on their previous sounds to combine them all into an incredibly versatile and memorable album. This is both good and bad, as Radiohead's experimental side in the past has been shown to make their best and worst ... read more
Radiohead Discography Dive #5
Following their experimental masterpiece in Kid A, Radiohead released a similar yet different album in 2001, by the name of Amnesiac. The reason these albums are so similar in sound and in topic is because they were actually recorded at the same time in the studio. This is why they are grouped together in "KID A MNESIA." However, this prompts the question, "Why is Kid A considered a masterpiece while Amnesiac is forgotten about?" Well, theres a ... read more
