its fine, wasnt what i was expecting, i thought it would sound like a devolved Filth, but it has some unique elements and its an interesting start to probably the greatest experimental act of all time, it reminds me a bit of Joy Division

in contrast to White Light, this album is much more FOLK and less NEO, its not particularly my thing, i enjoyed the epic ballads found in White Light much more (i gave it a 98) but this album is still good. its a much more chill and accessible album, i wouldn't mind it playing in the background while im doing something

this album does not feel like its own thing, it literally takes songs off of greed and puts them here pretending to be a sequel when they just sound the same, the songs "a hanging", "a screw", and "another you" are all amazing songs, because its swans, but the rest of this album just falls so flat. it has such good songs but i can't give it more than a 60 because it fails to be an album, and i dont really like the song "coward", the guitar is sick on that ... read more
