Only fitting that my 100th review (not rating, to be annoyingly accurate) is for the only album I've ever heard I would consider a perfect 100/100. I do not know if this is just a me thing, but it's a bit frightening to ponder the possibility of an extreme artistic genius or talent operating at the peak efficiency of their skill set and how they achieve such a feat. What circumstances must they face? What valleys or obstacles to overcome? External pieces of art to be inspired by? Life ... read more
moral of the story a lot of internet music fans are 1000x more pretentious and less intelligent than they let on, so never let strangers on the internet tell you how to feel about what you enjoy when they weep and awe over binary code. Also this is trite slop a megachurch would play during service even if it wasn’t AI so … very horrifying implications for the state of the world in the future.

THIS IS A NEXUS EVENT IN THE MAKING omg but after a wild summer of introspective transformation and painful rejuvenation, the baddie of this site is back to give unsolicited opinions ... read more
After the gargantuan commercial success and industry acclaim of 21, Adele was truly at the mountaintop in many people's eyes, and pondering exactly her next step musically must have been near impossible, even for her. Angel Olsen's fourth solo record (and her most commercially successful to date), All Mirrors, is easily the heaviest emotionally and sonically of her discography to date, combining chamber ensemble and ethereal rock elements in tandem with introspective, emotionally charged songwriting to create a cinematic atmosphere simply about how life is somewhat made up of our relationships, how they reflect the truth of our existence back to us, as if everyone and everything around us is a mirror to ... read more
