this is what jpegmafia sounds like to people who don't like jpegmafia except this is what he genuinely sounds like now apparently
This new era of King Crimson is less heavy and more... sexy (save Indiscipline). Would I miss the heaviness? Oh, I definitely will.
As much of a whiplash the change of styles may seem, their reinvention, kinda worked. However, would I think of this sound when talking about King Crimson? Not really. Really great album nonetheless.
Starless was fucking beautiful. This whole album is beautiful. Everything here is beautiful.
What an end to the 70s era of King Crimson. Truly a masterpiece. Can't decide between this and Larks' Tongues on which is better but man I don't really care anymore. This to me is THE King Crimson album.
it's aight it just doesnt have the king crimson oomph but it's pretty decent
It's one thing when music has the ability to tell a story, it's another when it allows you to visualize it. To tell y'all one thing, I live in a tropical country and the climate is usually warm during these times. Now I don't know if it's just climate change doing its thing but it definitely got at least 20 degrees colder upon listening to this thing. "Fire Above, Ice Below" is the best song here. Also like how this album sounds EXACTLY like its cover.
when they mention top 5 rap songs of all time and they say the tell em kendrick diddy song and not mc cong: 😡😡😡😡😡
jarvis, more alcohol
this might be the most horrifyingly uncomfortable (uncomfortably horrifying?) album that I've ever heard (kind of a basic take but i dont listen to a lot ok). it kinda reminds me of gybe's f# a# ∞ sonically, just a bit more personal and grounded, hence, more terrifying stuff. i kinda wish some songs where a bit longer, especially with such an atmosphere (plus i love really long songs).
all in all, am skerd
i dont remember when did i listen to this but it's pretty good
the country aspect is amped up on this black country, new road album
ykw... fuck the government too

KING CRIMSON JUST DOESN'T MISS! Safe to say this is my favorite King Crimson record (so far, at least). The heavier tracks fuck, going harder than the ones in their past records. Robert Fripp's guitar skills really popped off in this one. Not to mention the drums that accompany it, really underrated.
The production is also a tad bit more experimental than their past records, showing off the band's immaculate talent. It's pretty crisp and ... read more
