I don't get it. His rapping sounds lazy and drawled out over spastic "avant garde" beats. Maybe I'm missing a key element because I'm not familiar with Earl, but to me, this was a boring listen. Well produced tho
UGLY
and that's what makes it good I suppose
but it's not exactly "enjoyable"
gotta love listening to sound of my headphones writhing around and dying

I was spoiled to be able to hear this album played lived all the way through a couple weeks before release. That probably makes me biased, but this is a genuinely wonderful album. Finally, a step in the right direction in terms of production. His lyrical content is just as awe inspiring as ever, with multiple tracks hitting home for me personally. eagerly awaiting whatever he has in store for us next.
Best album of my lifetime so far, in my opinion

Quickest and most enjoyable forty minutes ever spent listening to an album
East Hastings is the soundtrack to a sick and dying city, and I'm yet to hear anything that compares to it, it's just such a perfect and inexplicable song
The Blind Leaving the Blind is an incredible composition, leaves me in awe every time

Perfectly irreverent and self-aware, and the instrumentals compliment the lyrics wonderfully
People II is my favorite here
