This was my first encounter with drone and it's still my favourite record of this genre. It uses the abrasive and soul enveloping atmospheres created by droning distorted guitars and places some pretty terrifying vocals and intrumentation on top of them, creating a grey medieval world filled with decaying churches, rotten corpses, black-winged demons and a chilling feel of dread in the air.
