This album is beautiful, it feels so raw and vulnerable, even for an album under half an hour, there is so much intimacy here that I can interpret as a desperate call for love. A feeling that something in your life is wrong, and that this person may be the one to fix it. the gentlest but also most powerful synth chords, soft vocals that are mixed to make it sound like she is singing right in your ear, and a lack of any kind of percussion gives it a serious feeling of resignation I guess. Very clearly inspired, but to a point that is hard to separate it from its predecessors
I hate using the word “vibe” in any context, but this album really does just have a certain energy to it
