I don't think this is investing early necessarily, but I think he's going to erupt in popularity soon
Production remains a high point, in fact the front half of this album probably has some of my favorite production from him, but ultimately the lack of evolution as a lyricist and rapper does kneecap this quite a bit. I also didn’t love how he used a lot of the samples on this. Lights was the most glaring example of this

98/100 - Masterpiece/Favorites, could've reframed my view of music
90-98 - Amazing, will undoubtedly revisit a ton
80-90 - Great, will revisit quite a bit
70-80 - Really Good, will revisit occasionally
60-70 - Good, Might revisit
50-60 - Just Ok, inoffensive.
40-50 - A little obnoxious, Could be mid.
30-40 - Not Good.
20-30 - Grating, really didn't enjoy
10-20 - Seriously terrible music
1-10 - New levels of terrible
